Anyway this dip and commotion surrounding crypto currencies is a great opportunity for the devs to come up with more creative ways of differentiating their coins. It isn't a easy job, but development in this area should become more ambitious and more importantly concrete.
Blockchain will inevitably become mainstream, many companies are already implementing blockchain and crypto currencies.....jp morgan being one of them, funny right? The ceo seemed really against bitcoin and said it will be over. Yet we see that a prolonged crash hasn't done much to bitcoin.
Yes the price now is still incredibly and unexpectedly high!! if you look at it in terms of months, let alone years, not the way some people look at in ...from ath to next ath and looking only a few weeks back....this is really strange way of looking at investment.
Crypto currencies are histories first ever worldwide financial movement of this proportions, nothing ever has even came closed to it. Just look everything up. .com bubble was nothing like this, tulip mania was restricted to holland and only 3 years from start to finish and had zero consequences after that except for people who killed themselves because of their debts.etc etc
This is something unique and nobody even knows how it will effect our lives in the next years, one thing that is assured, is that it will be widely implemented in various ways.
I don't wanna rant more about this, only that i think verge has everything needed to distinguish itself from others. In crypto currency of private coins it possesses the best ingredients to become the main privacy centered coin. Maybe a bigger pool of people who come up with ideas and support the future developments. In this regard the developers should come up with viable ways to pick the brains of people who are not directly involved in the development of their coin.
The huge gains and periodically sunstantial losses will probably become less pronounced as it should be to mature. It is just insane to gain x1000 in a few months and lose 50% in a few hours lol
I joined the party pretty late and already knew i could lose big or gain big, at the moment everybody with something else in their minds should rethink it. If anything grows 10x in weeks and sometimes hours, the otherwayround is also possible...though it seems that gaines are way way higher than any possible losses.
