I just installed the new Verge wallet for windows. (4.0).  It has no connections and seems to need to sync again all the way from 2014, is that correct?

Long time hodler and lurker here.  Most of the dumpers have left.  If there's any more dumping it's not going to happen at this level unless the entire cyrptoverse takes another nosedive.  BTC had a phenomenal run and took the rest of the space with it.  It's consolidation time.  Be patient, not just with XVG but with the crypto asset class as a whole.  Whatever you do don't fomo the 1000% gainers you're going to see every now and then on coinmarketcap.

On January 28, 2018, I withdrew my XVG from the Yobit exchange to my XVG wallet. I received the XVG txid from the Yobit exchange. But this txid isn't searched on the verge-blockchain info. I emailed to the Yobit support but there isn't answer. I still have't get mine XVG. Anyone can help in this matter?

Sure no problem. I'm sure my comment coming from a "newbie" account isn't taken as seriously as most. Just to name a few, it was reported from an audit that IP addresses were shown and not hidden. That turned out to be false. And also concerning Wraith Protocol. When it came out a few hours late on new years, people started to believe that it was fake, and only a hyped sales technique to drive the price up. But since then, Wraith has been released and proved to function, and do what it was advertised. But do your own research, don't take my word as a "newbie". The facts are there, you just need to make sure you're checking reliable sources.

So there's problems with Yobit as well. I can't help you with that, but I hope C-Cex will do something for their XVG wallet as well. My coins has been stuck at there, since Christmas. They don't answer questions and nothing seems to change. They are having big amount of other wallets in maintenance mode as well. Cannot really recommend that exchange, at the moment.
