How does one Put down Gambling for good?
I think it's best if you'll just invest your money on something else. Save it to buy a house, car, or even for your own business. Just set a goal so you can save. This is quite hard but it's for your own good. Whenever you crave to gamble, try to control yourself and make sure to put your savings somewhere you can't withdraw your money easily. It's easy to say but when you're in the situation of applying what we suggested to the a gambler that wants to quit gambling, it was never too easy for them. Before I'm saying the same to my friends that are addicted gamblers but when I became one of them, I realized on how it is to quit when you are already addicted.

Video games seem addictive, similar to gambling. Taking up a new addiction like video games, which costs less than gambling, could be a good approach. I can't say I've crossed that bridge yet. The world is an intriguing place, there are many interesting and entertaining things in it. For those who wish to quit gambling there must be something worthwhile and exciting out there somewhere.

Right, the world has many beautiful things that can offer. If you have some extra funds, better take a week to a month leave and travel to far place where you have not been yet and don't think of gambling just enjoy the place and what it can offer and you'll (hopefully) realize that there is much things you can do other than gambling.

Stop gambling if stoping gambling's is the best thing. Attempts to stop in gambling are many, and many other things can replace gambling activity. Such as finding a permanent job or a more profitable activity and can keep away from gambling. Depending on each person there who can stop because of this and that thing, try to find other activities that can making more busy until finally get out from gambling.

You are right, there are many activities that we can do to stop from gambling. There are recreational activities that we can try to focus ourselves if we decided to quit gambling. There are people who would seek for counsel in order to cure themselves from addiction. As for me, I gamble but I see to it that I won't be addicted. I know how being dangerous being addicted to it can be. I am scared about the things that I can do if ever I get addicted and I really do not want to hurt my family. I do not want those reports of addicted gamblers going mad and doing criminal acts to happen to me.

To quit gambling for a good purpose why not to try find a new one game that can actually be addicted you like a games or anything that will not suffer all your money just playing gambling hehehe. Finding some a jobs will be nice also
The jod should be really interesting to distract one from gambling. I knew a guy working as a night watchman so he became an addicted gambler sitting on that job. Find something you have to invest all your time in, otherwise you'll be gambling anyway.

Having a new hobby that will costs you lesser is a good idea. To remove your gambling look for another addiction that will make you spend lesser money. And it's a very good way to quit gambling for good, playing video games with gambling theme will mostly help you to stay in gambling but it will never cost you money.

You will still maintain that urge though no matter what else you are doing. My suggestion is cold turkey, go on a vacation somewhere remote without any possibility of gambling and relax until it has passed. You will still feel the occasional urge afterwards but it will be much easier to control.

An effective way to stop gambling is not online for a whole month, we have to rethink our nature to calm down and find work offline, spending time with partner or family is also able to make us not think for online connectivity, I personally need one year to rehabilitate mself from the influence of gambling.

Try marrying someone who already have 5 kids, maybe that should work. you'll probably save every penny and may even rob a bank once you have your own kids. That's a bright idea dude, marrying somone can really be a good reason to quit for good in gambling. But of course, you must ready and prepared too in this new chapter of your life.

Because if you want to quit for good, you must be living somewhere that has no gambling places or even people who are gambling.

To be able to quit gambling, a strong determination is really needed. I suggest doing recreational activities which can consume most of your free time, in that way, you will not have time for gambling. To quit is to forget and to start a new life without gambling.

I don't think so, he might forget gambling, but it is just for temporary, and this addiction in gambling might come back as soon as they are having family problem which is fighting and always shouting on each other and so on. Guys are like this, they are too hard headed, they don't want to be contradict by someone, and when they have decided to do gambling again, then no one can't prevent it.

How does one Put down Gambling for good?
Honestly, you can't stop to gamble in just one down. I can suggest that sometimes if you want an entertainment find an alternative things like sports, bonding with your family, playing computer games. In this way you can relax and take out the stress. Spending time to family is much better than gambling, because it is always in our side incase of problem, gambling can't help to solve our problem. And need to realize that gambling have no good result in the end.

You can stop by forming a habit for other activities because addictive gambling was a habit you consciously or unconsciously formed over the period and you need to have it replaced with something else so it's up to the gambler to access himself and form a live or habit for something else like recreational activities and spending quality time with his family and I think with time you can master control not to gamble.

It's a long way process before we can let go of it but if you want to quit it for good. You have a good determination to forget all things about gambling. Do other things or simply go somewhere where you can forget gambling.

Some people are addicted and some are heavily addicted like me. If you have become like me then it is not possible for you to quit just like that. You need to keep on playing because it has affected your brain. Some people even has spent alot of money because of this and they still cant quit because of the addiction

Some people even has spent alot of money because of this and they still cant quit because of the addiction It's not impossible to quit but it's really hard to accept that you quit because you lose so much money already, some gamblers cannot accept that and would resort to still stay and gamble hoping they can take back what they had previously lose. It's wise if we learn and forget our loses and focus on other things as it would help us to quit for good successfully, life is hard when we are getting addicted as we are like a slave on our own.
