Quitting gambling requires a determination and motivation. If you do not have the principle is the same. Because gambling is basically an addiction. Not easy to get out of the black hole

Just like in any other form of addiction - substance, alcohol, drugs, and the like, it is really not easy to get away with it. However, if we really want to change and have the support of friends and loved ones, then I believe we can quit gambling in due time. My reason to quit gambling was when my first baby boy got delivered by my wife.

I understand the impact and the situation of your family.Henceforth you had quit the gambling,but still many people being in the forum taking it as entertainment path. That kind of mentality should change first then only we can pull out the people from the gambling

yes, although I did not quite 100% of gambling because sometimes when my favorite game plays and I seed that they can easily win over their particular opponent, I will bet but with the money that I can afford to lose.

Those kind of betting habits cant really be avoided specially when you do see a particular game which we can see that we can able to win that particular bet. Its not really bad at all on having this kind of habit and i can consider that this is not a habit of a gambling addict. If you are really addicted on gambling then quiting would really be a hard thing but if you are really serious on quitting then you would really able to do such thing.

If you ask about how to quit gambling, you often experience losing in gambling. Because if always win, of course will never ask this. My idea is to decide in heart that gambling doesnt make your life and your economy better. And never remember what you've spent on gambling. Start a new chapter of your life as if everything never happened. That way you can live to be better person and without gambling.

Just the matter how you can deal with addiction , since you are insist to play it is because gambling addiction.
So find that way by distract your gambling habit with other habit such as sports or something that you really like and use your most time.

It is hard to fight addiction that is why the only way is to play with a smaller amount so that we dont hurt ourselves when we do that. Sometimes we dont want to stop and keep playing, we are going to destroy ourselves because if we keep thinking like that then we cant control the amount that we use to play

No smaller amount to gamble won't stop you to play , it is still tend you to gamble again.
You should decrease your gambling intention and it might will work.
Gamble such as once a week and then once a month and then as time goes by slowly you will completely quit gambling.

How does one Put down Gambling for good?

That would definitely take up a lot of time and effort before you rid Gambling for good. If you class yourself as an Addict Gambler then the process wouldn't be that easy. I knew some of my friends who really are an addict gambler (Everyday after work they gamble), They've come to the point that they can't control it anymore. Most likely even at the office they tend to play online betting and/or poker, They spend a lot of money and they even loan just to satisfy their craving in gambling. One day they were caught by our supervisor and they get immediately fired. At that point they are still at the peak of there gambling addiction. They almost lost everything they've had and after that they decided to go on a rehab dedicated to Gamblers. It was very heart crushing seeing your friends in that kind of situations.

There will be a lot of obstacles you will encounter, but don't let it get to your way. Believe in yourself and don't lose faith on the process. Learn to surrender when needed and set Goals in life. Only you can help yourself, Everything will be useless once you give up on yourself. (3 out of 5 of my friends succeed but  the other 2, still struggling to find their way out of this addiction)

But if its already affecting personal and family lives, i think a person should really recalibrate his decision. It's already a good reason to quit if you're family is affected and ypu just have to have the strength to channel that self control from your family.

In gambling Time+Effort is a must. You have to concentrate your focus on it and surely everything follows. Just like in love Time and Effort are needed, if you love someone you must give her that right? In gambling it is like that. If you love to gamble then give your time and effort for it and surely you will earn more.

Yes this is true, gambling is not easy to take away in our life but if we are serious in quiting in gambling we need to motivate ourself. Motivate to changes that we never involved again in gambling cause you realize that gambling is not good to our life.

For me i found a really easy i gamble only on yolodice and started gambling my signature campaign earnings which hurted me a lot so i messaged the admin to disable gambling for me and he did do that and now there is no way i can gamble on yolodice and i know I'm lazy to transfer those funds in another site pretty easy solution

Gambling is so addicting, I already experience to involved and it is not easy to leave when you are greedy to play, I try to stop by alternating some sports but it also involved a money. Honestly, I did not quit in gambling but I control myself to become so greedy.

You dont need to control it, all you need is to have some determination. If you dont have any determination at all then you wont stop. It is as easy as it is but people just seems to keep making it hard for themselves. If you have the slightest regret of stopping then you wont stop therefore dont even try to look back if you intend to quit

But later I realized that it will not take me to anything that is why I decided to quit or just play occasionally and not waste my money and prioritized things on my life. Compromising the money which are already being budgeted for the needs of family is really a dumb decision for a certain person to make because he would really make problems later on when he find out that theres nothing left on his pocket that is why we should really be sensible enough to mind of these things.Priorities would really comes first before anything else.

Discipline is what makes the difference between an gambling addictive and a person who enjoys the gambling for fun and entertainment. I don't know how I was able to curbed my gambling addiction but it will always begin with something with your family. I think its more of my family involvement that really made me quit gambling for good. Well I still gamble but not like I used to before. I was always in a land based casino and every though I have work back then, I will sometimes make excuses from my office and then I will go directly to a casino. But when I quit and focus on my family and business, I lost my appetite on gambling and would just focus on it. Then I slowly forgot about gambling and its like a total shutdown of my mind and body about it. Its been more than 2 years now though I stil play, once every month just for fun only.

It is not hard for some people but it is really hard for me. So it depends on the person, if you think that you are the type that could quit easily then you can distract yourself by doing something that you like. If it is like me then it is very hard to stop especially that I need to keep playing with small amount because I cant stop thinking about it

i don't think determination only can work. if you really want to leave it here are some instructions from me.
1) separate your self from computer and internet connection for atleast 2 month.
2) start any healthy sport or any activity to make you busy.
3) start any side job to fulfill your requirements.
4) never think about the profit you got from gambling only think about the loss you got from it.

Depends on why you want quit gambing?

If it's for money reasons, simply give the financial to your wife or girl friend and try to concentrate on other things that you might find interesting! Or work more, so you have less time to think about gambling.

Gambling does not make you physically addicted, unlike most drugs, so it's not that difficult to quit it for good.

i think that even people consider bitcoin as not a good activity but still they are finding it hard to quit it. i think even those people who have tried to quit gambling they are only succeeded for few days or months and after that they start  gambling again.
