I've noticed some users wait again a couple of hours for confirmations and the situation wont become better at all, blocksize most likely wont be changed next time. Please try to send all wd with high priority, ive seen even transactions without fees sent with high prio tho.
So I guess it would be a good idea to let the users decide themself how much transaction fee they want to send with.
I could think to just let them enter a number or give options with short "hint" like:
0 bits - Transaction will most likely take ~ 6 years to confirm 100 bits - Confirmation may take up to 6 blocks (~ 1 hour) etc...
Some other sites already changed to 200 bits because this is gonna be the new standart it seems. I think best would still be to let them completly decide how much they want to add, because everybody has different needs and some want it instant and others dont care when, as long as it arrives at some point.

lol 6 years, don't forget that once a tx is in the mempool for a long amount of time, nodes will forget about it. Then people who are cheap and want to save in the fee with make scam accusations with crap like "my tx never confirmed!!!!!!!!!!!!! they double spent it because I can't find it in the network". I think custom fees are good, but with a 100 bit minimum.

I actually had to make a node forget a transaction because I sent a fee that was like 1/10th the regular fee by accident. Took about 2-3 weeks to get those BTC back.

True , if your transaction doesn't get confirmed within 48 hours , then the client will reject it and you will receive your btc back in your wallet . But also , yes the confirmation takes a lot of time , Although i send a standard fee of 10k sats , sometimes i need to wait for more than a hour to recieve the coins.

You could basically get "lucky" and few btc get stuck somewhere and when youre old and bitcoin is worth few bucks you get them back. Hopefully wont die because of a heartattack then XD

The strategy is good enough, just that it has a much greater risk of the profits obtained. I think the strategy is going to be used for those who do business who want the speed the introduction of its products.

We have other users that have also lost large sums, that is true of every casino. The particular user you have mentioned makes up roughly 1/4 of our total volume, outside of the 50 BTC win that occurred a couple months ago MoneyPot's profit has been pretty consistent with what is expected.

It is always funny to see a newly created account account that post such comment a minute after it was created and it could be coming from an unsatisfied competitior's shill account. Stop spreading FUD , moneypot is doing great so far, in few more years there could be more casino on their site

Molloype is a regular player and its not that he lost all at once.. its a cumulative loss i am sure The profit of a Network need not depend on single user there are peeps who are only in profits

As soon below, that user joined 10 months ago. I doubt that he "just" lost 135. Idiot noobs and their FUD We have other users that have also lost large sums, that is true of every casino. The particular user you have mentioned makes up roughly 1/4 of our total volume, outside of the 50 BTC win that occurred a couple months ago MoneyPot's profit has been pretty consistent with what is expected. I'm invested with several accounts on MoneyPot, and I've been tracking a steady growth on my investments. Better than any bank or savings account can accrue. Yes, I understand that there are risks involved with bankrolling MP, but for the past two months, now, my investments have been very fruitful.

All that being said, still though...137 BTC is nearly $70,000 lost :-P Even if that was over 10 minutes or 10 months it'd still suck so bad, but I guess the size of the loss is directly proportional to the size of the bankroll
