We just received reports from our service provider that our servers are being under DDOS attack again, and because of this, they have disabled our network for the mean time while we resolve this issue.

Moneypot servers are protected via Cloudflare, so I am still confirming to our providers how it bypassed cloudflare and/or how did it got hold of our ip address.

OUCH, my bad I didn't notice that option and only filled amount and address field.

It is still unconfirmed after more than 24 hours  Undecided 

Is there something I could do now to push this transaction trought?

If it is any comfort, i did the same thing withdrawing from MP a couple days ago. Finally received my coins after almost 24 hrs. Just be patient. If you visit the Bitcoin tech forums you will see that lots of people are currently having this issue. I'm not the best technologist so I don't quite understand why this is suddenly a problem, but apparently it is. Hopefully the bitcoin ecosystem can iron this stuff out without having transaction fees spiral upward.

So if I'm understanding this correctly, normally this wouldn't happen when MP is under a DDOS attack because it is protected by CloudFlare. But that doesn't work because of wrong settings or somebody got hold of important MP data.

It is quite radical that a provider disables a whole network. Not user friendly at all. That gamblers can't use the gambling apps is one thing, but a lot of people use MP wallets just to store their BTC. People that can't control their money, even just temporally, is really frustrating.

Happens too often lately in my opinion.

I understand you concern, normally if under DDOS this wouldnt happen as Cloudflare will have already blocked them, but in this case, someone got hold of our direct ip address and used that as the attack vector.

The service provider has disabled our network because the attack is huge and could cause damage to their own network as well.

Update: Web server is back up. Api is back up. Chat is back up Working on the rest. Ill give updates here when all servers are up

Thanks for your answer, my withdrawal took more than 48 hours to get througt but it finally arrived: so strongly suggest to anyone who need their Btc soon when withdrawing from moneypot to set the fee at 200 bits (priority) rather than the 100 bits default one.

And in case people missed it, web server, api, chat are back up.

yes we know you and you have always given your best! we never said anything different about you. but as you said you have to sleep sometimes and that would be quite normal.

but an online casino business is a 24/7 business and last time I mentioned it  I got the answer from MP owners that they have to sleep also (no question) and they did not like my input. but I will repeat it here again that if you have a 24/7 business you need to watch it 24/7 and to react immediately if there are problems or api or servers are down. each minute is money for online casinos. there are many ways to observe an online business 24/7

I understand your concern, and im doing my best to keep MP up 24/7. And due to recent ddos attacks, We've upgraded our servers and put more security in place. Ive also setup an HA(High Availability) server to which incase the main server goes down, itll redirect to a backup server. So hopefully there will be no more downtime except for occasional maintenance.

All services are back up. Withdrawals maybe delayed due to confirmations. Thanks

Happens too often lately in my opinion.

The reason it has been happening lately is because recently we have become the target of DDoS attacks, this is out of our control. We just upgraded to the largest CloudFlare package and have recently upgraded our servers as well, we understand how frustrating it is for the site to be down.

Yes, we do have to sleep, that is a fact, not an opinion. We have it set up so we get notifications through various different messenger systems whenever the platform is bloated/struggling. I'm curious as to what ways you think we can observe it better, seeing as you have such problems with the way we do business. Constructive criticism is fine and welcome, FUD serves no purpose.

The blockchain is getting extremely bloated, transactions should be slow (unless you are paying very high fees) whether they are on MoneyPot or not. Hopefully more transactions are included in blocks in the future.

The blockchain is getting extremely bloated, transactions should be slow (unless you are paying very high fees) whether they are on MoneyPot or not. Hopefully more transactions are included in blocks in the future.

I knew it was a blockchain issue and not a Moneypot one; problem was due to me not noticing there is the option to choose between default fee and priority one but thanks for making it even more clear.

Atleast try to behave well, you seem to not really understand this thing

1. You use moneypot's service or should I say your 'casino' depends on them . Totally depends on them

2. If you are not satisfied with their service simply separate your site from their service, easy as that and build your own 'casino' that will serve 24/7 to the players

3. Your attitude towards them is what makes their response alittle bit hostile

Jackpot, MP, lets all take a big breath as we're all in this together, and we're on a nice growth vector. (I'm just a player/bankroll investor, but I'll still use 'we' ... lol.)


DDOS are to be expected when a BTC-based business begins to grow and attain some size. And attackers use the angst from customers and stakeholders (app operators) to blackmail the sites.

Jackpot- lets be fair. We all knew from simple observation that MP had come under DDOS attack. My funds were tied up, my withdrawal was hung up for ~24 hrs unrelated to DDOS: I didn't panic and I didn't need an immediate explanation as to what was going on and what was being done about it. And yes, I do also lose return on my bankroll investment, which I do watch closely. Because I KNEW from experience that it was a DDOS attack, and I KNEW from experience that MP guys were reliable and on the case.

Remember, every trial and setback that we overcome makes us stronger. My confidence and excitement for this platform continues to grow.

DDOS are to be expected when a BTC-based business begins to grow and attain some size. And attackers use the angst from customers and stakeholders (app operators) to blackmail the sites.

Jackpot- lets be fair. We all knew from simple observation that MP had come under DDOS attack. My funds were tied up, my withdrawal was hung up for ~24 hrs unrelated to DDOS: I didn't panic and I didn't need an immediate explanation as to what was going on and what was being done about it. And yes, I do also lose return on my bankroll investment, which I do watch closely. Because I KNEW from experience that it was a DDOS attack, and I KNEW from experience that MP guys were reliable and on the case.

Remember, every trial and setback that we overcome makes us stronger. My confidence and excitement for this platform continues to grow.

Indamuck, I'm glad to hear you enjoy our platform. DDoS attacks are to be expected, the one we received in the early AM (~2am my time) today was the largest one we have received yet. We made a few adjustments that should make it much harder for criminals to try and stop our business. We have not received any blackmail requests, nor would we ever comply with them, as they hold no leverage.

Im starting to become very pissed off at this point with all the bullshit errors that are happening. While i dont think the MP team is causing the errors i do believe it is their responsibilty to get them solved.

To answer why im pissed, i use bots all across MP. Site bots btw. And i keep getting invalid hash errors. What happens during these errors is the bot stops mid streak. What does that mean? Well i lose all the satoshi i bet up to that point. I spoke with Exo owner and he said the bot should restart on its own after a few seconds which is NOT THE CASE. I have to refresh and restart again. This happens across all MP apps and its ridiculous.

Im not pissed because theres a small error every once in awhile. This as been happening for months. It needs to stop. Im down .08 today already due to these errors and having to restart. I normally voice my complaints directly to the team via skype or slack but im sure im not the only person experiencing this so i wanted to bring the complaint to the public.

How am i supposed to gamble and feel good about it if i keep getting stopped and losing money? .05btc today and who knows how much money over the past months ive lost due to these errors. When these errors happen wheres a complaint form so i can be refunded? If it were 100 satoshi i wouldnt be complaining at all but cmon guys get a handle on the situation

I understand that you are talking from the gambler perspective but this invalid hash error is also hurting us the app owners because players bot get stopped while sleeping or afk and we lose wager (we earn from wager) then MP loses out because of less wager and investors also. that means we all lose out because of this invalid hash error.

you should talk less on skype with MP owners and more in slack but I almost dont see you in slack Sad
I am very active in slack and at the end it is uni me and vegas and this not much for slack dev room
