Just my two satoshis but does anybody else think a site should be finalized as far as possible before launch? The first expression would be a lot better if players could get a fresh feeling once they visit the site for the first time instead of having to wait for upgrades to come bit by bit. This is not directed to any certain site but it just seems like unfinished products are being released all the time.

It was a small window of opportunity to get in early on BTC gambling - it looks like it paid off for them

A site should be functional. No one website is ever complete.

In the last few years a practice has rose in the development community known as agile. Agile focuses on proving minimum viable product before features are added. As the site progresses, features are continousouly added. This differs from waterfall, which focuses on bloating a product before release.

Yeah it is hard to make site good enough, there is always some weakness that people can exploit it but at least you can make your UI and design better to attract people. With some promotion you should make your site better too

In your scripts, you need to implement a check to make sure the hash is valid, and if not generate a new one.

Referring to the API:

Hash Check: https://www.moneypot.com/api-docs#v1-auth-check-if-hash-has-been-used
Generate Hash: https://www.moneypot.com/api-docs#v1-auth-create-a-new-hash-for-betting

Not a problem, these methods exist in V2 with little variance, so you are safe to implement without the worry of anything changing.

Never invest more than you can afford to lose is the golden rule.
As you can see investors are still in profit, what happened recently is just variance.
If you look at that bet you'll notice that such big win will happen once in every 100k bets in average.
There were only few x10,000 multipliers so far and this one is the biggest.

Hi Ggddtt,

The house edge on the specific bet you mentioned is 1% (same as the house edge on Bet King). We routinely handle close to 3 million bets a day, some longshot bets are bound to hit due to the sheer quantity of them we handle.

Also, the user that hit that jackpot (public stats: https://www.moneypot.com/users/vinsin) is still net negative across the site.

This is gambling site, although you invest on the house does not mean that you can earn though. But believe it or not in the end house will also get profit, see how much moneypot have earn before. They already been hitted so many times already but they keeps on holding on and back again, this is just matter of luck when someone hit the jackpot or not but like acoin said that user is still on negative so in the wnd moneypot is still get some profit

They called it variance months ago when it stopped making a Profit, even before the strange jackpot wins.

I love moneypot but it just seems that a lot of People here would defend anything that happens which is just insane
