UPDATEICO:
The ICO is progressing fine and we have now raised more than 70 BTC which secures development beyond what we initially expected and will secure infrastructure, research and implementation of features that will certainly make MOJO different than most other crypto currencies. We will now be able to take the project where we want. It also means that when we go live proper we have almost 400 users which is more than many other cryptos and that is from day 1. This also means that we have a lot to do once the ICO closes. We have to consolidate the payments as many people appears to have paid more than once. We will then start making the MOJO payments and this has to be done manually so it will take a little bit of time but we hope to meet the deadline of 03/04/2016 for all the payments. Thanks for your support so far...
EXCHANGES:
We have confirmed that
Livecoin.net and
Coinexchange.io will list MOJO from midnight on 03/04/2016 so you will be able to trade if you want. We have been added to the voting list at C-Cex -
LINK - and we will keep Mojocoin in the top 2 spots for the next 6 days and make sure we get listed. I will contact C-Cex and again try to get the listing for midnight on 03/04/2016.
I am in communication with Bittrex but as you may know they are sceptical to listing ICO coins and they require that the dev (me) will publish online their identity. I am trying to establish exactly what they need and I will update further. In either case, I am confident that Bittrex will want Mojocoin soon enough once we have the next couple of versions of the software out.
Poloniex: Once the next version of Mojocoin is out I will write a little summary of our unique and innovative features and if only half of our community submits a new coin request I am hopeful that they will consider us.
I am writing to other exchanges as well.
RASPBERRY PI:
We are running behind with some things as we have been busy designing the new wallet. The draw will be on Good Friday 25/04/2016, promise.
TECH
The most important aspects of the whole venture however is the tech and innovation. As you know we have released a test version of the Mojocoin software (v1.0.0.2) w/ native Tor support so that you can see that we are working. This is of course only the first step. Once it became clear that we would have resources to research and test new tech we have decided to "restructure" the codebase and prepare the codebase for the future to make it easier to work on future solutions. We will therefore implement a range of privacy features in the next proper release of the software as we are already making heavy modifications. The next release will hopefully be out just before the end of the ICO but may be slightly delayed.
We have decided to run a hybrid network where clearnet clients and Tor clients can happily co-exist. In this design users with standard wallets can continue to connect as usual. Users with Tor native wallets can either connect to the Tor native nodes or the standard wallets behind Tor hidden services proxies. The Tor native wallet will also connect to the standard wallets via the Tor hidden services proxy to ensure that the hybrid network is kept in sync. Most of you probably know Tor already and this will prevent your real IP being associated with a Mojocoin address.
Furthermore, the next wallet will have native stealth addresses. They are basically a modified form of a multi signature transaction where the receiving address is obscured. When the coins are spent, there's no way to link the UTXO to the originating transaction however complete cryptographic fungibility is retained. It's a form of a zero knowledge proof. From a user point of view there is nothing that needs to be configured, all the addresses generated with the next version will be stealth.
We will implement masternodes in this release as well as this works with a 'mixing' function similar to the one used in DASH. The masternodes will relay and obfuscate transactions. We will set the amount needed to run a masternode at 500,000 for now which means that there are 200 masternodes theoretically possible. This will be subject to review and may change. This will also allow encrypted messages. We will call this 'Mojomix'. We will publish further details on the masternode system.
In addition there will be some other technical improvements of the code to make it more efficient and secure. I would suggest that Mojocoin will be amongst the most advanced out there after the next release.
As you can see in the
block explorer we are running the next version already but we need to test more before we can release it.
As for the future, we aim to be the first to implement Confidential Transactions that will obscure the transaction amounts but provide cryptographic proof. This will make Mojocoin the most secure crypto released.
Then we can start working on the mobile apps.
The best way to stay up to date is by following the 'roadmap' at
https://trello.com/b/fW9YORq7/roadmapIt is now Easter and I will be offline for periods of time with family and there probably won't be many updates over the weekend.
