Hahaha wow this just keeps getting funnier  Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy

I hope it never ends, hours of entertainment right here.
This is an opportunity for the New DEV team to take advantage of the bargain available to them.

There is no "new dev team".

If there was they would have been smart enough to just make a new coin, for you know...free?

There are just bagholders, seems like quite a few of you too, suckers.

After I am done with you, you will be banned from ever being on the internet again or even owning a PC

If there is a new dev let him post where we can contact him so we can add him and make a conversation or suggestion on how we can improve the standing of Bigup right now it's not good on all exchange ,we need a plan so Bigup will nor get delisted on CCEX..

It the NEW DEV is now in possession of 400m BIGUP, it would be easy for him to create trade volume at CCEX. Lets see if this happens.

I don't know if C-Cex really matters, the energy could be better spent trying to get on better ones.

I also think not releasing new info on the coin on BCT is unwise, this is where people look for updates.

Perhaps lock this thread with a link to a new one that is moderated.
If your responsible with it and only remove repeated trolls and not any criticism it's not problem.

good luck for whoever took it on, I will keep my wallet open and watch the thread.

This is the one hipos coin I didn't dump   Smiley

I recommend that this one be implemented right away, the new dev has the option to do that now ,he is the only one who can lock this thread and create a new one,on a new thread we must not let any prospecta alike to troll us so we can move BIGUP forward again...

Takeover is completed.

Dev funds will be transferred to the new owners within the next 48 hours followed by an announcement from the new dev group.

Thank you for your ongoing support and interest.

If the new dev remains quiet how could we know that he/she is working unto something?

I agree with thoth-Atlantian and fortunecrypto that for this coin to move forward, the new dev should make his/her presence felt by the community. To say that the new dev wants to be anonymous so as to avoid trolls and personal attack is like leaving this coin and the community to its own to prosper.

For an altcoin to be successful, it needs a dedicated dev and a supportive community. How can then the community be supportive to a faceless dev?

John Russo aka JRu is the "old dev", and the "new dev".

It's super simple  Cheesy

The smart thing to do is start stacking that 1 sat sell wall and hope some fool buys your shitty coins, hope really hard.

Take a look at the HIFUN orderbook, thats your future.

Wow. The past few pages... All I have to say is this: If any dev discounts bctalk as a valid channel for spreading information about the coin, they obviously lack knowledge of how the masses operate. I follow quite a few slack channels, but VERY few. I don't have time to visit different channels there on a coin I'm semi-interested in.

I prefer to subscribe to these threads on the forums so that I can have a centralized place for information regarding all the coins I'm interested in, which bitcointalk is perfect for. If the fear of getting "attacked" by trolls keeps the dev from posting here, then I wish I would have known this before investing in this coin. This is the internet. The coin is digital. Where there is internet, there will be trolls. The best way to deal with the trolls is to ignore them, not feed them.

I'm just glad I made back my investment by selling off a bunch of BIGUP at its hayday. All in all, the technology wasn't able to support the coin, the demand wasn't there, and nobody adopted this coin except for the shillers. No demand = no volume, no matter how many promises the dev and team has made.

My 2 bits.

This wasn't a community takeover.. This was a backroom deal that the community didn't have a single part in.

What you mean to say is that you are tired of dealing with the coin, sold your coins, and left the coin to the community to deal with on their own and came up with this pretty lame and unbelievable story to help you drop the project.

Or,

What you mean to say is that you are tired of dealing with the coin, plan to sell all of your coins, and then created a phantom new 'dev' so that you won't get the blame when your coins are sold off.

Or,

What you mean to say is that you are tired of dealing with the coin, plan to sell all of your coins, and then created a phantom new 'dev' so that you won't get the blame when your coins are sold off.

but the coins are stil there :

thus no selling yet

what's the plan from here guys?  who take it any  info about this change? I'm out for quite a bit and seen this post project already been establish only implementation is needed so I guess not a perfect timing to dump,

mine too my wallet still working well i guess only proper statement from dev is what we need just let this community knows what he's going to do to his remaining coin, much better to give it to the community and be use for further development.

Of course not, it would be too obvious. A smart move would be to let it sit there for a month or two and let people think it wont happen so they forget about it or lose track. Then before you know it.. well we all know.

The coins still being in the same address well after the supposed 'community takeover' should be the red flag that appears immediately.

If I had reached a deal with a person to buy out a wallet and take over as dev I would make damn sure that I got what I paid for immediately. Especially if it was a large sum of money. Dev fund is what, 4 BTC? Definitely not any amount of money I would just wait around patiently for.

He still has options though.

1. He can say that the takeover didn't reach fruition and that he will continue to be the dev. This wouldn't be verifiable as the new supposed dev refuses to post out of fear of negative feedback..

2. Transfer the coins to a new address and leave them there for a while before selling them to put on a front that they were transferred to the 'new' dev.

3. Keep the coins there and claim the private keys were sent to the new dev which wouldn't be reasonable or trustworthy.

4. Transfer to an exchange and try to sell them.

The most reasonable excuse is there isn't enough volume to sustain an order of that magnitude so he simply can't sell them right now except in small bits and is waiting for more volume.

I don't own any BigUP coins but I am part of a project that is partnered with this coin. I mentioned that something like this could happen back then and the proof is in the pudding as they say.
