Seriously, 10k btc just for pizza. That's huge number of bitcoin just for pizza. If I were that person I won't spent that much. If that guy spent 10k btc for pizza. Imagine how much btc he/she has now.

If you take this 10K offer for pizzas as fair, bitcoin was going for $0.00xx, maybe $0.01 tops. Man, what a crazy world we live in. That's why I'm very excited to see what the next 6 years have in store for our little geek currency. Before, stuff was valued at several bitcoin, now at milibitcoin. I'm pretty sure we're going to end up using hundreds of satoshi to refer to dollar prices, eventually.

The same thing can happen with any altcoin now. Litecoin is 1$ now and it can be 200$ anytime if we go by this logic.

Would you pay 10 LTC for a pizza knowing that it might be 2000$ in the future?

Altcoins like LTC can never achieve this feat.
These altcoins are crap.
There was no need for them. But coins like stellar, ethereum have a much better potential than these blocked alts.

Old Amazon Accounts. With 100-200$ Gift card loaded.

I agree but you can never know what the future might hold. If btc gets fucked up with the block size increase, then LTC is the next backup for BTC, so it might get it.

I bet the OP didnt know ahead that bitcoin will be 1000$ in the future.

No one knew
Just like no one knows now how much it will be in a few years
could very well go up to 4 digits again after the blocksize issue is solved and upcoming projects like openbazaar start functioning
