Unless you're trading, never trust an exchange with your crypto. They own the private keys so the coins are not technically yours. Buy and withdraw them to your own wallet.

That's frustrating as hell for those who didn't withdraw early. That was smart on their part, even though it's messed up. They need to be ready when everyone suddenly withdraws to another exchange. Their trying to limit their coming losses and salvage anything they have left of $XRB.

Got into the trap of that New law of limit in withdrawal of XRB on that exchange called Bitgrail. It is very frustrating to traders when trading platforms suddenly come up with new rules just to limit the movement of coins out of their exchange. So frustrating.

I'm stuck in Bitgrail like I was in Polo earlier this year Cheesy

Not all that bad... as long as the price doesn't cash.

But if XRB hits a big exchange and price pumps will become even more stuck lol

"No fees" and micropayments are a good mix of relationships, and No fees will make RaiBlocks a big boost in applications

I think that is written somewhere or maybe that was the minimum deposit was 100 otherwise it wouldn't be credited. In any case the restrictions on withdrawals are obviously a ploy to keep your money there because that is the only coin they have of value. To BitGrail add more coins of value if you feel this will screw your business!

The minimum withdrawal has always been there I believe. The minimum deposit is just strange, especially because they encourage you to send over at least a 1000 rai, otherwise you'll be charged 5 rai.

I think that people are angry now because they've implemented a restriction (without announcement) where you need to verify yourself prior to being able to withdraw (no verification required up to 0.5 BTC). Even when you're verified, you can only withdraw 1.5 BTC per day. It's absolutely ridiculous, but also mind blowing that they'd rather spend time implementing features to "lock people in" rather than resolve the issues their platform is dealing with....

The whole reason they need to lock people in in the first place, isn't necessarily coins of values... It's their arrogant behaviour to users, their incapability to handle criticism and the fact that they're unable to keep the exchange running.

Bitgrail's latest actions like Bittrex's are yet another example of why we desperately need decentralized exchanges.  Anytime we trade we put ourselves at risk dealing with individuals or companies who all too often take advantage of us for their own gains.  I'm getting really fucking tired of this shit.

EDIT - early this day I was thinking that RaiBlocks and the connected exchange bitgrail.com is some kind of scam.
I have to correct myself - they are not scam but are really shitty.
KEEP IN MIND - bitgrail.com has limits.
If you want to buy RaiBlocks for small amount for example 100$ (~25 RaiBlocks at this moment) in order to test this crypto as I did, you will not be able to withdraw - the minimum withdraw limit is 100 RaiBlocks. So, in order to withdraw you have to buy 100 RaiBlocks which is very high amount just for testing (for me). I should deposit more litecoins in order to buy +75 in order to sell all my shitty RaiBlocks because there is sell limit too - you have to sell minimum 100 RaiBlocks (but you can buy 1, this is why I am calling this exchange shitty and cheaty !!!)
Finally I sold all this 105 RaiBlocks for litecoins and have withdrawed succefully but I lost much because of exchange rates. My advice is to stay away from bitgrail.com and wait RaiBlocks to be listed on some nice exchange if this happen at all.

The high price of RaiBlocks is because of these limits - they let you only buy and not sell and prevent you to withdraw.
They price is pumped this way, it is not real.

Not sure why, but I was able to transfer my raiblocks in large chunks without any problems and I am not verified at all. 100, 200 and 500+ coins sent without any problem at all..

Same here, had no issues withdrawing from Bitgrail without verification. Bittrex, on the other hand, has been an absolute nightmare to deal with it's verification process and lack of support response. Hoping to see Raiblocks on more exchanges real soon, especially on Binance.
