I think the bitgrail hack and the large sum of stolen xrb is still in the head of many That is big reason which increasing pressure of sell side and nobody want to take risk on this project. Even it has been added to Binance and everyone waiting for big party but that stupid team of Bitgrail did something wrong to make this possible to destroy this project. Most people have no idea about stolen coins because they don’t know about XRB. I think if the marketcap can remains relatively steady for a couple more weeks we will see new people coming and eventually the price hit back. How many Nano do you have invested? It is more than obvious that you have many and do not want to sell, the reality is that Nano is not going anywhere, in addition to having changed the name "Raiblocks" sounded strong and Nano sounds, bah ... too Italian, like the one he stole them in Bitgrail, they want to make money, go to Bitcoin, greetings! quite a few, as to name I was also opposite to the change but now have learned to live with it. Besides nano is a buzz word of the world atm.

why is XRB not taking part of the general uptrend of the rest of the coins? Most rose 30% this week, and XRB fell 20%

I lost all my Raiblocks / NANO, but I'm starting to rebuy at these levels, while folks are fearful.
I originally invested in early December and saw insane gains, but was unable with withdraw funds from Bitgrail before the hack (I had been trying for months).
Luckily, it was only 10% of my portfolio, as I keep no more than 20% of my portfolio in any one place.
You could serve as a role model for noobs... very refreshing to see someone being accountable and turning a negative into a positive instead of just curling up into a ball and playing the victim card. Well done and best of luck to you with your trading!

Hello folks!
I am fairly new to the crypto world but trying to educate myself quickly. I am stocking up on Nano on Binance. So far amounts are no big, however if the price goes significantly up, as well all expect to, they would no longer be that small. Hence, how are you storing your Nanos? Is there a relatively safe way to do it? Has the wallet available through XRB website (RaiWallet) been developed by Nano dev team? Any suggestions here would be much appreciated. Thanks!

Always use only official wallet developed by dev team all other wallets could be risky. Never make mistake by sitting your coins on a exchange is really dangerous even it's suggested by dev team too like bitgrail. This coin is not stable yet because of this fishy hack.

Hey mate welcome aboard, it's nice to see new faces amidst the bitgrail controversy, this just proves that those speculations about nano ending is not true. Price will eventually go up so I really applaud you for buying at this current price, I'm sure it will really be worth it and you're definitely gonna profit. Anyway I've been storing my nano through the desktop wallet, it's not the fastest but so far it's been working well for me, if you're not a fan of downloading wallets then you can try the official web wallet for nano, it's https://nanowallet.io/, it's created by the official dev team and you also hold the private keys so your funds are really safe on there. There is also a telegram wallet, the nanowalletbot, you don't hold the private keys but it's a pretty great wallet,it's very fast and very easy to use. It's also created by the devs of nano so your funds are surely safe on there. I've had a lot of friends using that wallet ever since may and so far they haven't got any problems with it so I can highly recommend the nanowalletbot on telegram if you want a wallet that's safe, very convenient and easy to use.

In addition, NANO is one of the few projects with good prospects in the medium and long term, I'll not mention the short term, because the strong valuation has already occurred, but as the need and adoption by NANO increases, the expectation is that prices always consolidate in high patars! Welcome.

The answer is very simple, most of active traders lost their coins on Bitgrail and it will need some time to get things back to normal.I see that today price is 15% up and also volume is increased from 34,637,300 $(Feb 14) to 57,244,300 $(Feb 15). If what had happened had not happened, price of Nano would probably be over 20$ today.I just hope all stolen Nano will be frozen and who ever hack them will not profit from that. Is anybody try new Nano desktop wallet, any improvements on sync?I guess we can still help us to sync faster with chain download separately, but I did not see that files posted here in last few days?

i also bought nano yesterday on binance again, after loosing some on bitgrail - luckily i exchanged on bitgrail to eth before the freeze... but i cant withdraw eth right now. bomber says they working on reopening the withdraws for other coins soon... but i am not verified yet, so shit - i dont know if he is doing it or not.... at least he wrote on twitter on 14.Feb.2018 ( https://twitter.com/BitGrail ) - "We are working hard to reopen soon, doing everything we can to solve the current situation. Thank you for your understanding." binance looks for me more safe than other exchanges... never the less, i will try to get my coins out, should i use the new V10 Wallet or are there any other suggestions?

Yes I'm curious about that too. I don't recall that older wallets throwing up false flags... The older wallets should work the same as they always did, it's just the newer ones are supposed to be faster though I haven't heard any testimonals to confirm that yet.

I feel that BitGrail drama puts a lot of pressure on NANO and once we move away from this horribly managed exchange, price will return to ~200k sato.

The whole Bitgrail dilemma is still dragging $NANO by it's feet, when should be loose from that scam exchange soon. In the mean time get yourself some cheap $NANO. Consider this a never again buying opportunity.

The older wallets should work the same as they always did, it's just the newer ones are supposed to be faster though I haven't heard any testimonals to confirm that yet. It's a false positive, I use Avast and it did the same. As long as it's from the official Nano Github, it should be ok. The dev didn't sign the new wallet properly so the anti-virus will give a false positive.

very sad BitGrail Hack occurs after the rebrand but I believe this too shall pass and I strongly disagree if Nano devs decide to do fork

Did it never occurred to any of you people that the person who hacked these nano is selling them and that is why the volume increased? The price of Nano will not soar nor stabilise unless the issue with bitgrail is not resolved. And personally I think this hacker is selling off slowly. Think logically.
