i agree there is far more profit in trading altcoins than there ever is in trading bitcoin. sometimes there are altcoins that go up 10 times in price. the hard part is to catch them when they are still low and buy as much as you can.

i also agree. but the risk when the coin prices drop considerably. usually you will lose, or you be patient much longer to wait for prices to rise again.
I have always experienced anything like it. so ya right, you should to take risks when the price falls and direct selling(cut lose)

Trading in cryptocurrency can be good if you understand the coins you are trading. You need to hav more information before you start putting your coins on the trading platform. We are having new coins coming into the market every day and people are always there to promote them for their own gain. Therefore it is important that you take your time to understand every coin before you start trading.

Okay so I don't really have any idea which coin is which and which of those are good to trade and which are not.
Since I am currently enrolled in yobit campaign, I figured maybe I can do something profitable with the coins that I get from the campaign so I thought maybe I can start trading.
Do you guys recommend yobit in trading altcoins?
Also what coins do you guys suggest I trade? I want profits and not loses so any tips you guys can give me are really appreciated.

As of trading in general : you cannot guarntee only profits and no losses , if anyone tell you otherwise s/he is a liar.
If you want to do some serious trading you should get acquainted with the trading terms , indicators , volume , hours and alot of time to sit and stare the monitor 
Start small , set limits , develop your own approch and good luck

You can indeed start trading. But there is also a chance of course that you can lose money if the value is going down and that wont be good.
Just buy low and sell high that is the best option that you can do. But it is hard to predict for what is going to happen.

that's right.
an altcoin should have at least some daily trade volume that shows the others interest in the coin. a coin with very low volume means you will be stuck holding the coins nobody wants to buy.

p.s. Yobit has one good thing for you and that is you can join its signature campaign and use that money to trade small amounts so you don't lose any of your investment. it is a good practice but you should move to bigger exchangers like bittrex for better volume.

Trading is very good to do of course. But to make some more profit, the value must rise and that is very important.
I hope that more people are using Bitcoin later in the future and that the value will also rise for a long time.

Hello,
i am into cryptocurrencies for some years but last month i am trying to trade in Poloniex for fun. I can tell you what i did.
 It was very boring for me to just read theory without any practice so i desided to jump in the deep water and just start trading BUT with VERY LITTLE ammount of money. Some money that you can lose for a day and dont care (for me it was ~ 50 $). When you start trading you will learn really fast a lot of things about how the market works, how the platform works and the most important thing - how your emotions works in that situation.
 Be very careful about this :
  At the beginning you will be very careful about your decisions and you will probably make some profit (maybe) Don't scale it in your mind!!! Just don't deposit bigger amount because you are going to lose it. First two days i have made 7 % profit and i was thinking " Shall i put some real money and try with that "  but than the price dropped a little bit and i was back in reality again .
  Just play with amount that you can lose without problems and don't let some profit blinds you.
The depressive part of the story is that no matter what you do, what you read and how good you are in this you CAN'T predict the future (market). But that doesn't mean that you can't make some profit of it and some fun.
  About the coins : It is definitely better to chose to trade something that is famous enough and a lot of people are trading it. I personally trade DASH, Ether and Monero.

Someone mentioned that Poloniex want ID verification. I am trading there, deposit and withdraw for some time and i have never been ask for ID. Is it only if you trade with leverage or what ?

thats exactly right you have to have the knowledge about it before you do trading. As we all know the fluctuation happens but you should have the better knowledge and analyzing ability to ensure that you are taking the right path on the field of trading.

before you start trading altcoin, you must know the risk of altcoin can be 1000% higher than bitcoin trading risk. sometimes you get profit in altcoin, but you lose at value of bitcoin.

Shane has a point here since bitcoin is also fluctuating. Just trade known altcoins, but base on hype and speculation.
