I will suggest you just start trading without fear with little capital, if you use big capital in the start then you will all the time fall in fear and can't do trading with consideration. So in starting use little capital by testing and without fear, then you will know about your answer.
But i have spend 2 years in trading, i realize skill is by God gifted you have, but experience make polish your skills.  But basically you need both things to do it.

that right mate its better to trade and doing some campaign to double your profit. for the coin maybe do some research coinmarketcap is so much useful for the reference of the coin, for me the yobit is not good but i have account there because sometime the coin that i get on campaign or airdrop is listed their.

When I first think about getting started in trading I doubt myself even though I think the coin that I want to invest in would be pump up ,
Since I think the price of that coin is so low for it's true value since it is useful,
So I didn't get in or buy some and after a couple of days the coin pump up more than 20% and I was really sad about it,

In my opinion, since your are first timer and not yet familiar in trading, I think you better to invest first to Bitcoin because it is the mother of all cryptocurrencies. Bitcoin is too big to lose so you can never go wrong if you will invest to it. Then, try to invest to top altcoins much better of you are much familiar in trading to avoid losses.

Yes you can trade in yobit exchange but it's up to you and coins that has good value because some coins have good value they put in a top five exchanges it means even you trade there it's not too risky.
