Yeah it is just a game. Sure it is addictive and yes it can ruin peoples life, but that is not gamblings fault. The problem is with those people
who don't have discipline and act and think like a child.

Gambling is risky game of money from which most people lose and just a few wins. Gambling too is addictive and fun especially when you're winning and that's why most people can't get away from gambling once they get in it.

Gambling is already a part of life. Everytime you make actions you are gambling what would be the outcome. Gambling is risk. Wha is no normal is the form of gambling that you choose to make inyour money. Gambling addiction is what can be considered as an illness.

True that. Taking that job or not is a gamble. Going for that girl or not is a gamble. Almost anything can be addictive. To make definitions clear, I would say addiction or mental illness are not actually illnesses, just personality traits. And hence there are actually good and bad people. The term "illness" should be reserved for body infections/intrusions. Everyone has less desirable personality traits and people throwing around expressions like "you're sick!" for not adhering to societal norms is wrong in my opinion.

Gambling itself or the act of gambling isn't necessarily a sickness. Addiction to gambling, sure. Addiction to anything, whether it be gambling, porn, drugs/alcohol, food, is indeed a problem for many people.

This is very well said. Anything in excess leads into trouble. Even in as simple as the food that you eat. Gambling itself isn't a sickness. It's how you handle yourself when gambling. I believe that all people that tried to gamble the first time is for recreational purposes, like vacationing in Vegas, where lies lots of casinos. Trying won't hurt, would it? I mean if you lose yourself on it, that's something else. The real aim of gambling is having fun, not something you invest your money in and ending up in debt.

Sick is the state of being ill. Just playing a game or two of dice or roulette is gambling, but is it a sickness? Not really. Like others have said, it's addiction that is the sickness.

I don't agree with what you are saying, I am still much more in favour of having legalized, regulated gambling than to have it banned and it being offered by criminals.
Some people will get addicted and there should be some help offered for those people, but they have to take the step, you can't force help onto someone.

Its okay to gamble. But you must play a little. It is not smart to gamble very much, otherwise you will get poor in just a time and that is not good.

I don't think "gambling" should be considered a sickness in itself.  I enjoy gambling as entertainment.  Playing a game of cards with my friends and putting in $10 a game, is much more entertaining and enjoyable than paying $10 to go to the movies to me.  Gambling addictions, on the other hand, is another thing though.  Addiction is  a sickness.

no, gambling is like drugs, if you start to play you can't stop, car can be used for fun too, but you won't be that addicted to car as you could be to drugs, or in this case, gambling, usually, once you start gambling, you won't stop it without help from others

I'm thinking a sickness is a bit to far, but it also how you look at it, I think you can say its a sickness if you are addicted because these people are losing everything they own and know.
Gambling itself is just for entertainment so there is nothing wrong with that.
