Could this ruin waves? should I dump also?

wow thats amazing news. I think whatever questions you have regarding impact on waves and what your actions should be , should be directed to you "friend" as obviously he knows a lot.

He pays around 1 BTC per month to be in some group, but wont say anything more, he just knows I hold waves.

Anyway back to my original question, if this happens tonight will my waves be at safe value?

Who can tell? If you're really afraid of missing out, put sell orders at a high price (don't ask how much exactly. That's for you to find out). If it pumps and dumps and it fills you sell orders, you'll make nice profit and you can rebuy a lot more Waves. If it just pumps and stays up there, you'll still have a nice profit. If nothing happens, nothing is lost. If it dumps, well… It would probably have dumped anyway.

First time I've heard of someone being worried about a pump.  It has happened with every coin including BTC.  I think your "friend" is having you on though.

Bid side 262.733 BTC, Sell side 633814.653 BTC. That does not look even to me. It's also funny why Waves is not listed in Poloniex. What is Poloniex criteria for a coin to get listed? Are they more strict than Bittrex?

Yeah it's funny, poloniex is really serious (maybe more than bittrex) and from a few months it doesn't really add all the scamcoin/altcoin. Maybe Polo. isn't interested to waves, because the project isn't really clear.

Why waves was created ? Just to speculate, pump & dump or for a precise reason? I've read that it is a crowdfunding platform but they didn't have a working blockchain (what about the source of those full nodes?).

Totally agree with you twiggy. No one has an answer from polo but yet we see people jumping to conclusions which brings me to ask... is there a voting list or can one be created so we can get listed. If enough people vote we can change the current situation.

Poloniex seem to have stopped doing anything since the DAO/ether fiasco.  They still haven't upgraded the NAV blockchain after 6 weeks.  They haven't added any new coins since then either.

I doubt poloniex will even consider adding waves until at least the full node is released publicly . With only 1 node running at the moment waves is too centralised . Perhaps after we see the node released and more people running nodes other than the waves team then we might soon after see poloniex adding it as well.

True. Maybe it's better to wait and they might get Waves listed. After the DAO attack maybe they aren't planning on adding more coins at the moment.

The last coin added on Polo was The DAO tokens. I think there is some issue at Polo that they are trying to sort out before adding more coins. Have you seen how slow and unresponsive Polo gets when there is big movements on ETH? It's ridiculous, you almost can't trade.

I wouldn't be surprised if Polo is busy updating their back-end to cope with the load, before adding more coins. WAVES  have the potential to add a lot more volume to Polo.

So i think the Polo listing will happen after the release of the full node code and Polo have completed whatever they are doing.
