Although this thread has opened again, I'd wager that your best option is to join the #Wavesplatform slack channel, http://wavesplatform-slack.herokuapp.com/ or try the official forum at wavestalk.org. It appears as if the "officials" aren't hanging out in this thread any more now that the ICO is over and things are moving forward.

From my limited understanding, Waves was looking at taking some features from NXT and pursuing them forward, rather then being the all-in-all solutions that NXT aimed to be.. but for more than investment speculations, I think it's best to ask the developer team directly.

Look at the sizes on the Ask vs the Bid... There is no buy support.  Just you guys in this thread.  There are no new buyers for Waves.  Waves is a scam.  Sasha just pumps it through is partner news site, which is run by the Waves team themselves.  Total pump and dump.  Get out now or cry later.

Oh, and Poloniex will NEVER list Waves.  Any time someone as much as mentions Waves on the Trollbox, there's a very condescending attitude from moderators... trust me it's very much like Poloniex is saying "Don't bring that Waves shit in our house"

They don't react like that toward any other coins as far as I've seen.

You should always set orders below market price at the time and wait for it to come down to your price.  As long as you don't set it too low your order will get filled.

Yeah I thought it was low enough but I guess not. Now what? Wait for price to go above $0.20? It's now at $0.17. I'll keep trying though.
