When sending FROM Bittrex to another lite client, you need to remove the 1W part of the address.

ok, ill try that. thanks alot. where should ive taken that info from? this is really confusing ...

edit: still the same problem .... anybody?

Does anyone know if theres an option to print out paper wallets for waves? Atm pretty much all of them are on bittrex so if anything was to happen to bittrex then it could be disastrous for the waves platform.

Everything is very simple. Just use this manual:

(To withdraw)#From Bittrex to Lite wallet - remove(1Wfrom_your_address)

eg 1W3PPc2CpAHaG3xjeaZJ1uxdvtiertmo9brAN

If you do not do this, nothing bad will not happen Wink

If you are using a personal wallet, do not forget to keep your seed in safe places. As far as I know, exchanges do not give private keys from wallets only public keys.

Right now the best place would still be on WAVES Lite Client. exchange is still dangerous.

in the future once WAVES launches...

a very good alternative (or backup if you plan to) will be EXODUS Wallet. However, as of now, it is not available...yet!
Once full node + custom token/asset launches, we will need to let the 2 guys behind EXODUS wallet know about it.
their wallet is going through a phase of "adding more features" and "adding more coins". so perfect timing to get WAVES added after launch.
So that they can immediately set up for WAVES to integrate into their wallet. And then we can store WAVES in there and cold storage it.
If we do nothing, WAVES will just end up being queued behind other cryptocurrencies, which may take months to get added.

So if all of us are in this together, just simply tweet them when it launches. or you may tweet them now to let them know that "WAVES node Launch is very soon".
Or you can let them know in the Slack channel too. But i think Twitter will be more effective if there's 100s of it. its easier to see/show the demand for it.

Meanwhile, we can also approach Jaxx wallet to add WAVES once it launches.

In the future, can you update a system without this add/remove 1W issue? I have seen this kind of question from day 1, so auto system to skip the step,  must be the best option.

The full nodes is already finished?
it is a great news and we wait to see waves on polo soon.

No, still not released, if released the price is not this low.
thats right if the full nodes completely been released we will expect mooning for the price, just give some little more hold and wait.

If they were ready for full node release I am sure they would have released it by now. Hiring at this stage in the project just screams incompetency to me, like they have ran into multiple problems they cannot fix without help - Which is expected but why not advertise to hire months ago?

Just my opinion, but I am not expecting full node release this month now.

It's exactly the opposite, a proper software team will be constantly hiring. You can build a shitcoin with a couple of guys in their mom's garage but if you want to build a solid secure protocol for serious business I would expect it to take them 2 years or so to fully build out the team with competent roles. During Ripple's first few years with Chris Larsen in command, his contant mantra was 'we need to build a big team'. I don't think most people have a clue how hard it is to build one of these asset-based protocols, especially from scratch...getting concensus right, doing APIs, tuning throughput on the nodes etc...It's not the same as cloning litecoin. It is a positive sign Waves is hiring, I hope to see them hire more devs and they will be taken more seriously with each onboard.

As Incent has only reached 15% of investment cap, there may be pressure from that quarter for release of Waves nodes/assets. Many Waves bag holders won't buy into Incent ICO until we have seen a nice return on our Waves investment first, I suspect.

Looking forward to Waves (bi?)Weekly Roundup 12.

I have been holding my waves from the ICO beginning.
I know they are doing a good job, but they keep making promises they can not make true.
Therefor I sold my waves at the ATH, and will rebuy when I gain trust or hear some positive news.

It is prety hard to believe that it would take such a long time just to make a coin decentralized.
I think they should have done it by now, 2 months for coding the basic principles of a coin is too long.
How long will it take to make the DEX? 10 years?

It depends on how they deal with spending the ICO's money. Once them halfway  they will lose interest completely.

I think many people already lost interest because of the bountie dumpers and the long waiting.
If they would have released full nodes weeks ago, sure than there still would be alot more investors.
Not being on poloniex as a coin says enough.

I think we need to see the full nodes first to really believe that they are capable of creating a new platform.
Since they have not showed any good fundamental platform yet, I think they will grow after they do.
When full nodes release, poloniex will add it and I will buy back waves Smiley
