How much is earned ? I am familiar with how the masternodes work with Dash and the return from that is pretty good.

1. How are WCT allocated? I did not get nearly as many in this distribution as I did in others, although I have the same amount of WAVES in my wallet.

2. I have the lite wallet version 0.4.12A. I do not see DEX anywhere. Am I suppose to upgrade the chrome wallet somehow?

10k of Waves is enough to find ~2 blocks in 24 hours, so 100 MRT.

And some fees, but that depends on the amount of transactions on the network.

So where does the value of this asset come from? As you know you can get mining fees on Wavesplatform not only in waves but also in custom tokens.
So token issuers should have an incentive to strike a deal with miners regarding accepting their assets as fees.
An automated way to do that would be distributing some bounty in the asset to active miners.
That could be done through distributing it to the MRT holders, which are exactly that, miners.

On top of that, miners will be able to vote for certain network parameters and issues, similar to the proposed scheme for Waves Community Token.
This is a quite flexible tool, so many other ways to use it could come up later.

Blockchains are technical mechanisms of social consensus, so it’s very important to engage system participants in securing and maintaining the network.
I believe that MRT is a right step in this direction.

Well, what do you suppose they do? Quickly release buggy software to please the Waves holders?

If you sell now, you didn't lose anything, so just do it. Nobody is forcing you to hold your Waves, nobody.
