Yeah true, but some of those shitcoins didn't have much funding so 1000% skyrocket from let's say 10k start funding is more likely than a project funded with 20m+ . I'm not saying it's not possible, but not overnight for sure.

Yes but if our dev gets drunk some day and pumps waves when he is bored he can do it with 15m and not 2btc and we could end up looking for that yuri gargarin guy to come and dig our heads and asses out of the moon.

Was the mainnet already released? I just downloaded the Waves Lite GUI and the current block is 488801. I can not see if it is test or main net but the block high indicates that it is testnet. Where can I switch it on the client?

I didnt bother with Lisk,DAO etc but I had some coinousd for a long time and when you look at the devs other projects waves has a good chance of acheiving its goals like attracting financial institutions to work on open blockchains and also implementing some form of decentralised KYC etc but this time he will have proper funding and btw he is also an expert at forex bot tech so thats all plus plus too.looks like a good slow and steady project but the pump dump stuff in some comments are really just distractions from the mundane I think.

Why has the amount of waves I received with my ICO purchase keep declining in my balance?  What I mean is, the number of waves in my ICO balance on the wavesplatform keeps declining.  For example, a week ago there was almost 2x as many waves in my balance as there is today.

It was a dynamically calculated value, based on the total amount of BTC raised up to that point. As more BTC were raised, the same number of WAVES get distributed over larger number of BTC and therefore the balance decreases. Now that the ICO has ended, this shouldn't be the case.

So.. wasn't an update going to be released to the white paper? Something with more technical documentation? Maybe including some of the planned features for the Waves platform for the rest of 2016 and first 1-2 quarters of 2017. What about the decentralized reputation system in Q1 2017? Looking forward to more info and some technical data on what is to come!

During the last week of the ICO more people came in so your holding would have decreased.
