How will the process of adding new coins to decentralized exchange go?

Ok...major gripe on the chrome wallet...

Its a Multi-coin wallet, there should be at least an indication that the WAVES address is the address displayed at the top of wallet. It looks like a multisig BTC address.  

On the 'deposit' tab under the WAVES token, it should not bring up a BTC address and say "send BTC here"...I assume it converts BTC to WAVES. This should be the WAVES address like every other wallet...after all it is 'deposit' under the WAVES heading. There needs to be a instant convert (shapeshift) tab or something to handle the instant BTC->WAVES conversion.

You should test with small amount first, learn how to use Dex, then start trading or sending, join to slack channel for some help on real time.


By the way, Waves whales should take advantage of wallet maintenance on Bittrex to pump the price =D

I was going to move my Waves off bittrex to Waves lite client. It asks for a .01 BTC deposit first. Why ? I have all my BTC tied up in other things and don't want to have to mix my BTC to keep my Waves account anonymous

Readed last year also what you say that cryptofund,coinomat assets and some others will be transferred to the wavesplatform once dex is ready.

Last time Sasha posted anything on Coinomat in nxtforum.org was one week short of a year ago. If nothing has changed in a year, I doubt it ever will. I'm afraid those are forgotten assets nobody wants, just look at the buying price of Coinomat - 0.813, Just a joke. I used to buy those at 6-7 range when NXT was worth 6 times of what it is now, soo... yeah, stay away. Unless Sasha has a plan to pay dividend's for a year and resume operation, these can be considered abandoned by all means.

Ideally, migration of all nxt assets to waves dex should be performed once DEX is out and ready for consumer use. Not sure about these two, try opening a topic on nxt forums, someone will come up and address this. Theoretically DEX should boost things and probably result in a plethora of newly created waves assets, I will be keeping an eye on it.

You could have swapped any asset to Waves during the ICO.

Waves BTC gateway is running through Coinomat right now. You will be able to migrate to Waves blockchain and will be able to trade it there like you are doing now with NXT, later this year.

How do I buy on the DEX? I have 5 btc in lite wallet but it wont let me buy on the dex...how do i move the btc to the dex?

Is your BTC showing on main wallet page or are you referring to the "Bitcoin" token that was given out by faucets that shows on the portfolio page? There is no "moving" anything to DEX, that's the whole point of DEX. I've bought Waves with BTC through DEX.

Yes it is showing 5.0btc on the wallet page. I transferred the BTC https://blockchain.info/address/1HaSPTykXJyD6TQa4BhWTSC26W5JX3J5Wv 45 conf ATM. When I try to place an order the DEX says "Error! Not enough balance." I have no WAVES in the wallet yet...could that be the issue?

That could be it. The trade fee is paid in WAVES. It's only 0.003 WAVES per trade. Come to think of it, that's fucking cheap! Not a percentage, 0.003 WAVES per trade!

The 43 BTC sell wall on Bittrex at 40k was at 38k a week or so ago. Wouldn't be surprised to see that pushed back to 42k, especially if the 20 BTC sell order at 40.5k is the same guy. After those have been gobbled up, it's launch time!
