What is your best investment strategy?

The crypto world can become unpredictable sometimes, making our choices of investing into it, a very limited one. From scams to ponzis, there have been many losses from investors, yet making it very difficult to find a reliable investment.

But on the bright side, you could still invest into assets and commodities with your crypto like Gold and Silver. Then, if done right you could profit along the way with a good strategy.

As for me, I only decide to invest into gold (by exchanging BTC to Gold) and into some NXT and BURST assets.

What would be your investment strategy? Please share your tips, advice, or any good strategy you would use to safeguard your crypto investments. 

I think the best investment strategy is through spreading your money through various investments. It gives less risk if one investment falls down. If you want in multiple businesses, then you need big capital. And you are looking to invest in casino sites you need more coins to make a decent profit. Suppose if you have 5 BTC you can spill it into 3 reputed casino, but your earning will be very less compare to trading. So my opinion is if you are looking for long term profit with decent capital then better go with this method.

Joining ICO's is another best investment strategy but for me you should do add some other attitude when joining. You need to be responsible and learn on that projects long term goal / road map because that's the most important thing in investing in such projects. Also you need to have a lot of investments to get good results.

Agree. When considering to invest into an ICO, you should always take in mind, to make a research about a specific project, to help protect yourself from making a bad investment and lose your money in the long term. In crypto land, new ICOs appear every day, but not all of them will become successful.

If you were to make a strategy with ICO investing, I'd say you invest the minimum amount possible within the first days of its announcement. Usually, ICO projects give a bonus for those who invest into it early, so it would be an advantage as you would earn more money by doing so. As soon as the ICO token hits the exchanges, consider to sell the tokens or coins and secure your profits, in case that things don't happen accordingly with the project.

Remember that with every investment, there is always a risk involved. Just my opinion.

bitcoin is definitely the best crypto currency to invest and maybe even the best investment option all in all, though it is also very risky as you can easily lose quite a lot of money one day if the prices start dropping.

As they say, you won't gain if you won't risk. If you are still doubting at bitcoin then just invest an amount where you can affort to lose. For me, bitcoin is worth the risk because of its great potential. Transactions was made easier because of bitcoin. All things in this world have risks, it is up to us if we are willing to take that risk.

What I do to make more Bitcoins is I lend them to people that I trust. I only charge interest based on the length of time before the borrower payed his mortgage. I also use Bitcoins lending sites online but I only invest few money because it is risky. That is how I invest.

lending is quite risky because they might not pay but if you lend to your friends and you also require security, I think it would be quite safe. and surely you will benefit from the interest you give

As a thumb rule of investment, high risks gives high returns and low risk gives low returns. Lending is something that requires moderated risk and the return on investment depends on the aspects like trust of the borrower, mortgage, amount of loan and the tenure of the loan etc. There are many users who are earning fair returns by managing professional lending service (refer to the lending section of this forum) and on the other hand, there are many lenders who have lost money in p2p lending sites and vice versa. It all depends on the professionalism of the lender.

Yes there is no doubt about that, that high risk can give you high profit as well as huge losses. But I think high risk can take only those people who have good experience and skills of trading. And those people who have good knowledge about trading. I think high risk can also take those people who have good investment, and those people who do not have good investment they cannot take high risk.

Investing on various business will decrease your risk in the investing activities. But just put your money into the bitcoin and you've already done in the right place to investing your amount. I didn't need to divide my amount. just try to keep them into the bitcoin form.

yeah maybe it will also reduce the risk of a large loss when the investment to be a scam. but is it focused on only one investment is better? how do you think about this ?

Spreading the risk across the various investment options makes sure that there will be enough return from some investments to cover any possible loss from another investment. If someone decides to invest 1 bitcoin in lending, I would advise him to lend 0.02 BTC to 50 people.

And secondly it is also risky to put all your money in one business. Yes this will work for sure but do you know when to buy at what price or when to sell at what price? When Bitcoin's price tends to fall we don't know how deep it will get for example last January we thought that 900$ is its lowest price but we have seen it dip back too 700$ which is lower than 900$. In words it is a simple strategy to be rich but in reality it is hard to master when to buy low and sell high.

Agree. Bitcoin would be the number one cryptocurrency to consider investing into, as it has managed to remain solid in development and security for quite a long time. While many altcoins tend to fail over time, Bitcoin remains as the ideal cryptocurrency for use as a store of value.

Since it can be compared as digital gold, it would tend to become much more valuable over time, the scarcer it gets. But, as with any investment, you should always proceed with caution, to help prevent huge losses when prices start to decline. Always diversify your investments among different altcoins like Ethereum and Ethereum Classic, and you'll help minimize the risks. Just my opinion.

now I only see that altcoin project, such as project ico very good to follow. when the project is successful, it will probably give you a sizable profit, and even very much. but, when it does not work, maybe they will refund your money. so, the risk is very small.

Investing in an ICO is quite scary now a day, even the project the seems legit is started by scammer, or people that have the history of scamming other people.  We should be vigilant on this and try to research the project and developer thoroughly.  If you check the altcoin section there are some project there that looks legit, good presentation and good website but at the end will run with your money.

It's all about approach and nature of the investor. If there are 100+ traders, there will be possibly  100+ investment strategies. I have chosen price diversification technique so even if I have my capital in bitcoin then I will spread it in multiple denominations and invest those parts to balance the risks in the investments.

Holding them is a good way to make profits in future but some of them should be invested in trading to multiply bitcoins in a quick them along with making regular profits but if you don't want to take any risk then best choice to simply keep them safe in wallet and sell when price goes higher.
