I had a transfer of 9.346 Btc plus the fee associated with transfer go missing after a failed transfer on Friday.

I guess due to how fast the price of dropping that day that by the time I clicked the send btc button, the amount I entered had already fallen below what it was worth.

Here is my reference number for the failed transfer:

REF:646b0501ba084351a8a5ddc96761d217

My support request # is:

71515

Any help in fixing the matter quickly would be appreciated before greatly appreciated.

Thank you :-)

Today I'm trying to load my debit card, but the payment is pending half a day. Though it usually was taking a minute.
https://i.imgur.com/YFanePn.png
Will it finish today?

Also, some other things which are really annoying, at least for me:

1. Every other time I try to load my debit or virtual card, I'm getting "Service unavailable" or some other error. Even if it succeeds, the process is very slow.
2. When logging in, reCAPTCHA is sometimes invisible, so I have to reload the page 2-3 times to see it. When I tick the "I'm not a robot" checkbox, it always asks me to "Select images with", though I'm logged in my Google account and it passes automatically on all other websites, except yours. You could enable reCAPTCHA only for unsuccessful logins.
3. Transactions history is extremelly slow.
4. Customer support is extremelly slow.
5. Email and SMS notifications are really annoying. I understand it is a security feature, but could you at least make an option to disable these notifications for deposits and card loads?
6. Once loaded, you cannot withdraw funds from virtual or debit cards.

Hi, I'm from Chile.  In January I was able to withdraw from paypal, (with no bank associated),  to e-coin card (virtual) successfully. E-coin account is verified.  But now I don't see withdraw option in paypal.
I have sent an email to paypal support, They told me I need a Visa card from my country (Chile) to do withdraws.
Please, can you confirm withdraws from paypal to e-coin are not more an option.

thanks.

Maybe they changed their stance on paypal from those countries they deemed to  not do business with advisable by paypal by their tos rules.
They are always revising their terms of services for businesses to keep their contractual obligations with those companies like ecoin/wirex.

Due to the blockchain slowness is talking some hours for the btc to appear on your wallet. If it takes more than 24 hours, please contact the support team

I don't think the problem would have been solved automatically.

They disappeared on Friday around noon, I made a support ticket on Friday in the late evening, got an email this morning stating that the ticket was being looked into by some employee at 6am this morning "west coast US time", then a couple of hours later I got another email from the support employee in slightly broken English that stated everything should be back in the wallet, which a quick check confirmed everything was back.

It does suck to have Bitcoin in limbo like that for a few days while the market drops. But I can't really blame Wirex for the stress over the changing value of Bitcoin. Taking the weekend into account, the time to resolve this issue was done in an adequate time frame. Overall I'm satisfied with the experience, had this problem happened with one of the smaller wallet apps I wouldn't have had too much faith in me seeing those bitcoins again.

So all things considered in happy with my wirex experience in this matter :-)

Reply from support:

Note: card load and unload limits are different. A card load limit is $2500 while an unload (or bitcoin purchase) limit is $1000

Best regards,
Wirex support team

Is this a joke? Smiley Or a scam? Or support incompetence? So I deposit $2500, but can spend only $1000. WTF? @Wirex, please explain.

Hello Overx. Sorry for the late answer, I checked your ticket and the support team is still working on the issue. It's been a little complicated so the passed to the development team. I already posted your ticket with the support team so they can act faster on it, and added you to my watchlist so I can track the issue. Thank you for your patience.

Please avoid sending more than one ticket on the same issue, as it only slows the response process even more.

Hello Martis Martis. It's not a joke, neither a "scam". It's how the limits work for Unverified accounts. You can learn more about by reading this article:
https://help.wirexapp.com/hc/en-us/articles/207870815-Wirex-card-limits

I'm sorry you don't like or understand how this limits works. However, There's an easy solution for this. Check this link to learn more about the verification process:
https://help.wirexapp.com/hc/en-us/articles/207161719-How-and-why-to-verify-Wirex-account-

Hope this information can help you. Please, try to be less abrasive next time. Wirex have been around for 3 years already, and developed the service way further than any other bitcoin debit card service. Why bother "scamming" our users, When we can aim for long term success? Come on, be real  Wink
