I'm going to try use my card for the first time today. Do I need to transfer the money from my Wirex bitcoin account to my plastic card or will it automatically come out of that when I try withdraw from the ATM? Thanks.

I don't use the Wirex card but I'm pretty sure the procedure is identical to the card I have. You will need to first convert your BTC to fiat (which would be your card's currency). The conversion is an automatic procedure during the card-loading process.

If you have a verified account, the transactions limits are generous and high. If you have a non-verified card, be aware of the loading and transaction limits which can be really low.

Mine used to work, I've got some small payments onto that address and they've got transferred to the SegWit-enabled address automatically for a fee. All but the last one.

Right now I'm also curious "what's next" since I have again some small amount sitting on that address, so the automatic process has "stopped" it seems.
I don't mind it's stopped, I'll lose less from fees, I'll gather small amounts there for one more month, I think, so when those payments will stop I'll just fill a ticket, they usually answer and do a pretty good job.

I confirm I received an answer but I still don't understand why Wirex is asking me to wait 14 days to receive my money back. There was an error in Paypal side and they charged me but there is not transaction.

I hope I get the money back because its a big amount.

This happens to me with some merchants. First they block the purchase amount, then they charge the same amount again. The blocked amount is released within a few weeks. I'm guessing you got in the same situation.

You need to exchange the BTC to your card if you have the app its very easy to use and very user-friendly.

Hit the exchange button select your bitcoin account and the card you want to load then just follow the app or website

Yeah, I figured it out. Unfortunately the exchange rate Wirex gives you makes it not worth using the card. 1 BTC is currently £3,324 on Coinbase and Preev but only £3130 on Wirex which is a huge £194 difference. Then add the five £2.50 ATM fees I'll be charged to withdraw it out which takes it to £206 loss. Shame since Coinbase sucks so much and wont answer my support emails to them.

It looks like opposite problem from everyone else, I have more funds on my card than there should be I feel if I do another transaction it will add up to my card again.
Not that I'm complaining receiving free cash, but it's not right and there could be some charges because my actual card balance is negative.
I have contacted the support and they say balance is ok.
Is there anyone with similar experience?

1. Yes, the limits are the same. Moreover, the limits are per account, not per card.
2. For the unverified account, the lifetime spending (unload) limit is 800 USD/EUR/GBP
3. You can check your transactions list to see how much you have already spent.
