Looool I thought it was meaningless at first they announced it:

https://twitter.com/wirexapp/status/1022158719579316225

I am sure that they've did some study before adding it, so I am not surprised.
However I would love to find a way to see only the wallets I do use, or at least reorder them in a way LTC and XRP go (for me) to the end of the list.

Also, I get quite often lately a red bar "This action cannot be performed at this time..", actually I get it on each refresh attempt, it seems. Do you guys get the same?

I am back from holiday and the card worked well in 3 more countries (each and every one with different national currency) and it also worked well in all gas stations.

it also worked well in all gas stations.

Interesting. I've never had a prepaid card of any type work for fuel in the US, and a few places in Europe too. They all had plenty of balance too. My Xapo card in particular also failed on numerous occasions for bog standard shopping. I called one place up and they couldn't identify what type of card it was.

Never had that popup

Maybe is this some specific US feature. I never had any issues buying gas with prepaid cards. I also used Xapo before Wirex and it also worked fine.

Anway, does anyone has problems with crypto back feature on Wirex account? It just disappeared few days ago and I can't claim crypto back anymore.
Sent a ticket to Wirex support but no answer yet.

Cryptoback is there for me. And I've just checked it - redeemed some satoshi from "cryptoback" to the wallet - and it works.

Update: after discussions with their support, I checked if my problem also happens on computer (and it didn't) so the next advice was to reinstall the app.
My problem is solved, maybe these steps can also work for you, @bitbunnny

That is funny. It worked for me also until this Friday and now it's not showing anymore. I've checked all setings and options in case that this is optional feature that could be turned off but I haven't found anything.
Hope the support will answer soon, I collected nice amount of satoshies and don't want this to be waisted.

Just to post the update, the mistery is solved.
Visa is no longer providing crypto back option for my country, that is why is no longer available at my account.
I understand it's the question of Visa policy but I blame Wiex not to send any annoucement about this. They just removed this option without any explanation literary in a day and deprived users from possibility to claim satoshies that were available until that moment.

Yup, their PR is sometimes far from great, to say it nicely.

Hi, can i order all the 3 Plastic Debit cards (EUR, GBP, USD) for Free? Or i must order just one of them? I want them all Smiley  Can this cards be linked to Paypal? Thanks!

Since you have to pay the monthly fee for each and every one of them and since you can pay with any one of them in any country, I don't see the use to have that many. So I don't know.
All I've had was one virtual and one plastic in the same time.

But you should really ask their support. Lately the support seems to work fine and my last 2 issues got answers in less than 24h.

wirex just randomly blocks accounts without any reason.

My account was successfully verified on May 8. Than on July 20 I received a message that it failed and have my account blocked.

I wrote to support, it replied that issue will be investigated, than passed more than a week and asking the status on the issue I got no reply. In a few days I wrote again, and again no answer.

If you search web, you'll find a lot of similar complains on accounts getting locked and people's funds actually being frozen.

Don't use this service if you don't want to lose your money. These guys are absolutely incompetent.

Yeah, I have that feeling too.
Today I got another unpleasant surprise from Wirex. Because my country isn't the member of EEA (yet) there is also possibility that I will not be able to use the card anymore.
Now they know that they will no longer approve new cards for my country but they don't have the clue what will happen with existing ones. But the worst is that they didn't send a notice for that but the lady from the support just unofficialy has mentioned that and they still didn't send any info at all to the users. So, it might happen that one day my card will be declined in the store but they don't know when is this going to happen.
So, what kind of amateurs are those people in Wirex?Huh Like they are just playing.

Yeah, I have that feeling too.

I remember what happened with the Wavecrest cards. There was effectively zero warning. None. I remember seeing tweets from people halfway around the world from home with thousands of pounds or euros on their cards cut off from them.

Because of that I'll never, ever leave any balance on any card ever again. It gets loaded and spent immediately.

This is actualy clever idea, not to store anything on the card. Having bad experiences with Mistertango and now with Wirex I will also practice this. And the funny thing is that I chose Wiex as an alternative to Mistertango that gave me much headache.
Since I usualy spend for the weekend I will just load them with amount sufficient for the weekend otherwise I would risk too much.
It's such a shame that we still don't have reliable and stable Bitcoin debit card provider and service that will not constantly change.the conditions without any warning. Will that ever change?

All the ones so far available to Europeans at least seem pretty lashed together. Coinbase and Bitpay cards in the US seem rock solid. I presume that's because they have a more direct relationship with Visa rather than going through some barely known third party.

I've read that Wirex have a three year deal with this card provider. I still wouldn't have a huge amount of faith it's going to last the distance.

When speaking of constant changes, Wirex is realy special.
About week ago I received the notice that they will no longer provide cards for my country but existing users will stil be able to use it.
Yesterday I received another notice where they say Wirex will provide cards for new users afterall and all services including Cryptoback will be available again.
How strange is that? You never know what can you expect and I don't like so much uncertainty.

Hmm. That's definitely not too reassuring. I think I'll continue refraining from going all in then. I hope people operating stuff like this realise how much disruption they cause if their service falls apart. If they can't absolutely guarantee it then they shouldn't really be offering it.

Ecactly. Having in mind past experience and changes of terms and service that happened without announcement I'm not sure how much can I trust them again, that their service will be solid and without further surprises.
Of course, they say it's not up to them but up to.Visa but like the service provider they should ensure the best possible service to their clients.
I'll continue to use Wirex but at first I will be careful and will not load my card with too much funds, just necessary to spend until I see how it will go further.

No word from them other than a platform issue in their thread. Any progress on this?

I think we're only ever going to be able to depend on one of these cards when they're issued directly by the card companies themselves.

I think that they have different provider. SpectroCoin seems to not disclose the card issuer and presents "Spectro Finance" as intermediary, while Wirex tells clearly that they work with Contis Financial Services Limited

Also I've heard here and there of issues about SpectroCoin cards, maybe it's related to the suspending. However.. quite bad news if they are true. We need more reliable services...
