Weather conditions have definitely improved today compared to yesterday and all drivers went out and made up for the missed times they had for FP3.  The Ferraris are once again ahead of the Mercedes but we'll see in quali where it really matters.

Well he got pole position again.  Lewis Hamilton could win the Chinese GP tomorrow if the weather stays the same.  Max Verstappen finished in 19th place.  It would be good to make some bets on him finishing at the top 6 or if you're looking to gamble, even a podium finish.

Good start for Verstappen.  He's now at second despite starting at 17th place.  Does anybody know what the odds were for him to get a podium finish or top 6?  I should have checked the odds in all the bookies that had them.  I thought about it, but the odds at Bitsport were too small.  I think they didn't update it.  I should have checked Sportsbet's odds.  Another missed opportunity.

I don't think there were team orders given.  At least not something I've heard of while watching the race.  Riccardo was driving at the edge of his seat and he was trying to pass Verstappen.  It didn't look like there were orders given.  Verstappen would have slowed down if there was.

In recent years it become usual that only one team dominate, like Mercedes now or Red Bull few years. Now Ferrari and Red Bull only may win few races, but nothing more. They will just fight for podium positions and Hamilton probably win win championship easily. But I think it can be interesting fight for constructor cup because Bottas doesn't looks faster than his main oponents.

Great win from Maverick Vinales. What many here maybe don't know is that it's the first driver for Yamaha to win the two first races of the season since the distant year 1990. That was the last time a Yamaha won the first 2 races of the competition. Well done to him, better start than Lorenzo when he first came to Yamaha.

Yea but he stated only one overtake but from 4th to 8th was overtake all the race. But Honda should forget this GP fast with both riders out. Nice performance from KIM drivers but due to crash they took points.

Some rumors and news about formula 1

Fernando Alonso is to race in the 101st Indianapolis 500 with McLaren, Honda and Andretti Autosport, missing the Monaco Grand Prix, this is confirmed.

The revered Istanbul Park Intercity circuit is lining up a return to the Formula 1 calendar after new CEO Chase Carey met with President Recep Tayyip Erdogan to discuss plans to revive the Turkish Grand Prix, this is a rumor talk.

My bet for this week's race is on Vettel to win at qualifying priced at 3.50.  I think this has some value.  After two races, Ferrari could be making more tweaks with their car making it point something seconds faster than the past two races.  At least I hope so.    We'll see...
