Tempus's latest news is really extraordinary, as is the diffusion and adoption among users .... this sooner or later will reflect on prices.
I hope lykke can run and even advertise on his exchange, and do not miss that advantage he has ... every month are in fact getting out ICO of decentralized exchanges and competition is getting harder.
Why not just hook up with Blocknet. They are already decentralized and the exchange is already working with many coins. You could easily implement them without having to build your own. They are the only ones who seem to have figured out true atomic swaps on like 30 plus coins Yes Blocknet is solid, Can't compare it to others, wait until the UI comes out

a global marketplace that allows people from around the world to freely sell financial assets This is what got me so excited about Lykke at first, it's an amazing idea. There is a Lykke Card on the roadmap. How does it compare to Monaco Card which offers a 0.75% cashback?

.. every month are in fact getting out ICO of decentralized exchanges and competition is getting harder.
It doesn't matter that much, as Lykke is the only semi-decentralised exchange. Lykke competes (or will compete) more with centralised exchanges, rather than decentralised exchanges. I mean, technically it will compete with both, but the privacy hounds will want a decentralised exchange, which is fine, so there will always be a small market for a fully decentral exchange. Decentralised exchanges however can NEVER have the volume and speed of a centralised exchange. Hence the reason Lykke went for it's design. It's massively scalable and can become a world player against some of the biggest exchanges in the world if things go right. All of the competiting decentralised exchanges have absolutely no chance of this happening. That's why Lykke will be successful and why it doesn't need to worry about the crypto competition.

The best value of Lykke is its stability, even in times of strong volatility of markets and bitcoin.

Happy Birthday, Lykke!Today we celebrate Lykke’s second birthday! On this day, two years ago, active operations at Lykke began. The true history of our company starts more than 30 years earlier, when Richard Olsen, Lykke founder, began to ponder an important question: how to organize a society where individuals or groups of individuals can act irresponsibly, as sometimes they do, without putting the social contract at risk. (Richard speaks more on this subject in his interview.) It took him the better part of a lifetime to develop his vision and understanding, out of which was born the Lykke Corporation. Interesting Reuters article about Singpore and Blockchain: Blockchain booster: Singapore eyes commodity fintech firms
(...)
Swiss-based Lykke, capitalized at about $440 million, is building a series of decentralized marketplaces that will list and trade cryptocurrencies and trade tokens, that could represent a commodity by grade and delivery point, for example.
“The plan is to work with people that want to build the markets that suit them, or we’ll build them into our own marketplace,” director Seamus Donoghue told Reuters.
Lykke aims to tap private wealth markets in New York and Singapore for funds to provide market liquidity. It has applied for securities licensing in several major jurisdictions and plans to become a regulated market operator in Singapore.

Hi folks,
mtnsaa and I have made a trello-map for the community. Purpose: Collecting all kinds of valuable suggestions and feedback from here and other platforms (Chats, Reddit, Facebook and others) to make it easy for the team to have an overview. Whatever ideas you might have, from suggestions how to improve the App to business-ideas for Lykke, feel free to post it on these channels. We’ll decide what to add to the Trello-Map with some focus on quality.
https://trello.com/b/7EFaUhyj/lykke-community
Also critique is welcomed - but it should be substantial/constructive. In case of technical problems, the first step should always be to contact support@lykke.com.

Hello Tempus. Question I've been holding Lykke in my wallet since the ICO. Since I own shares in the company, when will investors start receiving dividends? Or is that in the works? Sorry, I haven't checked up my Lykke's or the project in a while.

Hi cryptodv! As far as I know dividends will come once Lykke is 1) profitable and 2) doesn't reinvest that profit. But I don't have any numbers so I can't make a prediction when the first dividend-payout will come.

No, US-customers are still blocked. Last update about the regulations was this (about 1 month ago): United States
The legal entity of Lykke Securities (SEC Broker) has been registered with the state of New Jersey, which means that Lykke Securities is officially recognized as a New Jersey company. The registrations for the legal entity Lykke Dealer (CFTC Broker) have been completed at U.S. Federal, state, and city levels. The U.S. National Futures Association has issued an ID for Lykke Dealer. United Kingdom
Lykke UK has onboarded an additional cryptocurrency liquidity provider. The MTF application process is being discussed, and an FCA representative had been allocated. An application package in compliance with MiFID (II) standards is in the process of being updated for submission. Cyprus
Lykke Cyprus is one step away from achieving its licenses. The Lykke Investment Firm is in the final stage of being authorised by the Cyprus Securities and Exchange Commission, and it is ready to serve clients for trading, portfolio management, and investment advice and research. We have already received a response from the Central Bank of Cyprus for our Electronic Money Institution license, which has also proceeded to the next phase. The Lykke EMI will be ready to serve any type of client for all electronic payments. Singapore
Lykke Singapore has established a Singapore holding company called Lykke Corp Pte Ltd. We will be establishing two new entities as subsidiaries in the next few months: Regulated Exchange Activities and Asset Management. We have also defined our regulatory MAS licensing strategy, which includes RMO, or the Exchange Licence; SVF, or E-Wallet; Custody; Remittance Licence; Asset Management; and Crowdfunding. In addition, we have prepared our roadmap for unregulated products in the area of non-securities trading, namely Singapore Wallet, and we are localizing the Terms and Conditions and the Know Your Customer and Anti-Money Laundering processes for the wallet application.

The question is how to deposit money from russia, right? I think Credit Card should work. You also could deposit Bitcoin or Ethereum and sell it for USD.
