If you were rich, would you still gamble?

Yeah, I would probably set myself a budget as to how much I would want to gamble with throughout a set time period though. So I would be able to control it.

nobody think gambling as a great place to become rich , only for those people who lucky enough to win a huge money afford to say this. and no matter you were rich or not you will still playing once you have started to gamble.

I know personally someone, actually a close friend of mine that make more money with gambling most of the time. He encountered loses and it is fine to him but he encounters more wins than losses. After all, he has always the big smile at the end of the day. He is the one who taught me how to build sessions and do pre-planned betting. Although I seldom use them now because I am busy with other things that give more income at the moment. I am still gambling every single day but not as like before that always more than 12 hours of play every single day.

That is too much time to spend in gambling and since the house the advantage you are just exposing your self to a lose as your chances will diminish, if you are playing dice you will surely be busted your bankroll with that time spent in gambling but it that is poker it would be fine.

If you actually read through the entire thing, you'll easily understand that he's not doing dice games, but rather betting (sports betting most probably). It's only common for people to actually spend time before he finalizes a bet since more time used for planning directly means more chances of winning. That's just about how people become rich in gambling/betting.

When we've got a small amount of cash (a few thousands) on us, it's easy to place small bets and to play with the faucet because we'd have only about a few hundreds we could afford to loose. If we got millions, it'd be hard to play with under a penny when you know you've got that much in your wallet or bank.

   I would still place bets on sport games. No matter how rich I am, only difference is that my bets would be much higher then now. I bet with money I can spent now, and that is not much, with money OP talks about I would set up a limit for my bets and I would try not to go higer then that.
   I can just imagine to put bet on final game in Champions League, and to go to watch that from some nice seats. That sounds like a dream come true, and it wouldn't be just football games, where is basketball and tennis, other sports, I would have money to follow that from best seats.

AFAIK gambling is not a hobby, this thing will only become bad habit to you if you keep on playing it without any self control, because whenever you get addicted to gambling, everything will be changed for sure but may be if you still can control yourselves to get some extra winning that is a good thing but the problem is people keep on losing it and keep on playing it too to make sure they can really recover it but in the end they will just lose more and more

Besides Harry Kakavas the rest are not that big to begin with. Plus in the investment and stock world the losses are much bigger than gambling loses.

Well for some people who have enough money and they are rich they are treating gambling as one of their hobbies. But for me, if I am going to be rich I will going to stop in gambling. Or if you can't stop to gamble even you are going to be rich already. Why not make gambling as your own business since you are already rich and you have your own capital for making one of it.

Well that is going to be the advantage if you are a certified gambler you are not going to worry about your gambling capital.

And you are going to do nothing but to gamble as long as you want it. But the disadvantage of it is that you must able to control yourself.

Or else you are going to lose all of your riches.

That idea will will change once you get rich.. Gambling is just fine when you are making a gambling sites, it requires a lot of money to start the business but I think you can afford that because you are already rich and in that way it will lose any addiction to gambling as even when you gamble you will still earn of your business.

i have different idea i would have done gambling surely for fun,specially in sports betting because if u bet on any team or any other thing it increases the fun of watching any sport.I am not rich but i still do it with small amounts so surely i would have done more if i was rich and yes with a bit of control.

Well, a sport betting is really enjoyable to play because we can enjoy watching and if we win, surely we are happier than expected. And if we just bet small amount we can bet more times. Unlike betting in big amount, we can just bet once or twice because we just use all our money that is intended in gambling.

Investing your money in another business is good then taking risk and placing bet in gambling, because you know how much gambling is risky. If i would become i will never ever play gambling or taking risk to loose my money.

If I were rich, I'd still gamble, but would treat it more like a leisurely activity. I would go places just to gamble, like in Vegas, Macau, Manila, China, all those places. If I have money at my disposal, I could go an a gambling spree for a week and not regret anything if I lose all the money I had, just as long as I had total fun. That must be how the ultra rich feel.

That's the fastest way to become poor again. I hope when you will be rich you will change your mind. But of course if you are talking about gambling with small amounts for fun only, I agree with you, I would be gambling in that case too.
