Hey guys, here with your quick
daily update.
Sorry about the short down time last night, it was unexpected but resolved quickly. Now on to some good news. NBA is live. The next sport we will be releasing is MLB (Baseball), however we know many people are anxious to know about when we will be releasing UFC/MMA and Boxing. This is currently in development but at this point in time I cannot give you an estimate on when it will be complete. I hope to have more information about this for everyone on Sunday in the Discord.
Currently (this weekend) we are working on finishing processing the perks and as soon as I have news about this I will post asap (waiting on Steam cards). We hope to release some preview screenshots of the new UI in development in the upcoming week and I look forward to talking with everyone Sunday afternoon.
More to come soon.
There are a lot of games missing. I noticed that only games scheduled for the day where the teams are known, we can bet on. But let's say it's a playoff, like the current season I'm following, DOTA Starladder, can't bet on semi finals today
It goes the same for the CS:GO Norway vs Sweden. Able to get on the first round of playoffs, but not the TBD games.
Here's the example.
I'm able to bet on KoN Norway vs KoN Sweden for CS:GO, but there are TBD games after for playoffs. This is the schedule for today on another site.
Would be great to see us be able to bet on the whole series in the future. I think it benefits both the site and users to have a wider selection
At this point in time we are unable to supply odds for certain matches. Since odds expressed on the website are an aggregate of existing well established bookmakers, if they don't supply odds (which typically means they consider the match to be volatile to bet on - unpredictable) we cannot supply them either. However as we look to expand we will be hiring specialists for each game/sport that will allow us to determine reasonable odds to use on GameBet. Since there is a parimutuel system we do not have to worry about the unpredictability of a match but it is in our best interest to always be able to give our users "some" insight into the statistics. As mentioned before, we will also be looking to expand the site in the direction of team statistics allowing you to see their past matches and look up specific teams they have played in the past. Most betting sites don't allow you to make this level of informed decision on which team you choose. I'll be answering more questions about what you can expect going forward on Sunday on Discord.
Just to clarify one last thing, if you look at CSGL - CSGL's odds are not based off of traditional book making techniques but rather how people have bet (proof of this is in the same screenshot you posted b/c look how there is a % already on the TBD team).
