There are around 0.5 milllion users of the bitcoin at present. If it double every year, there will be 32 million users.
Glad to see you have that figure, but I am just curious because I am not really a mathematician or an analyst what would be the results or implications of the increasing number of users until 2022, I mean what would be the price then? Doubling every year is asking for an awful lot, especially doubling every year for the next 6 straight years. There just aren't that many things that experience that level of growth for that prolonged of a period of time. And it would be dangerous to try and draw a correlation between number of users and price. There are far too many variables that affect price, and you have to magnify that by how quickly crypto changes and all the future unknowns that could disrupt Bitcoin. On the face of it, it seems safe to conclude that more users means a higher price, but regulations and competition from other cryptos could drastically alter such a simple premise in the next 6 years. The possibility you are talking might happen because of the competition in the market, there are new coins that is coming our that has a good future but for now we can tell yet if they progress or not. If I am a consumer of a businessman I would prefer to use a coins that has been tested already through time and for me there is no other coins qualified on that except bitcoins. |

I think that bitcoin will be in used in 2022. The thing is, there's no way to be certain that bitcoin will be used by almost everyone in 2022.

Actually even by 2020 IMO, many will be using bitcoin, but it doesn't guaranty that mostly will be using bitcoin, everyone would still prefer the currency in their country for convenience. Just like us, we are collecting bitcoin but we sill prefer to convert it to our local currency for ease of use. I'm afraid that institutions and businesses that uses bitcoin can't cope up with the increasing users in many countries, they might come later on. |

I do not agree with the name of the theme. Well, maybe because I am a pessimist. 2022 is a very immediate future. In my opinion, here it is in the habits and the system. Generation still is, used to, but what's there! Not even everyone knows about the existence of Bitcoin. It should be replaced by a generation of people to gradually people learned about Bitcoin and become technically competent, as well as the need to restructure the financial system and economy.

yes bitcoin has that much reputation till now which can make peoples say this statement but without faints bitcoin can also losse its value and to control faints there will always be banks maybe bitcoin can make it difficult for faint to transact like nowdays maybe those days they will be like only aleans only some peoples will use it  |

That's a sign that there are new players in the market want to use bitcoins in their daily transactions, I would say we have to thank the gambling for helping us on what the bitcoins has achieved now, and hopefully by 2022 even not almost at least majority of the population will adopt. |

At least we have to try our best to promote bitcoins, people who have not known this would probably amaze the benefits of using bitcoins. It takes time to educate them but I am very optimistic it will happen. |

2022? I think it's too fast buddy. Bitcoin needs to be known well first. you know, perhaps many people out there know bitcoin, but don't know it well. so they're not willing to collect it. I think it still needs more years like 25-30 years to be used by not almost, maybe some of people in the world.
6 years is not short time,and bitcoin have so many upcoming event,it all is big event,and all expert or developer will start to think deeper to make bitcoin become bigger than now,just believe in 5 or 6 year everybody will know or use bitcoin. I personally think that it will not used by everyone, you never know what can happen with Bitcoin and Bitcoin is also impossible to predict so you dont know and that can be bad. But indeed you can see that Bitcoin is now being more used and that is quite good for Bitcoin and for the people that already use Bitcoin, the value must only rise now. We will see more users using bitcoin by 2022 but really difficult to predict that whether everyone would be using it or not as in majority of the corner of the world people are not yet aware about it. The digital world is much more faster, it will get access to everyone in about a few years, now the third world countries are also on the same rate on net as the other major powers. So to see it I can predict that yes in 2022 or 2023 about 90% of the world population will be on net and as at the time bitcoin will have firmed its roots and will be global currency of internet so everyone will use bitcoin. I may say that this is possible but not like everyone like each one because we still have to consider choices of people moving on. There are some who really prepares to have bitcoin be used as their form of money in exchange for the service or buying an item just like what is happening right now but I would not consider all institutions that accept only paper money at all and no other type of currencies. This may take a little bit of time before it would totally be well known to the public. Rights of the people would play a big role in this kind of awareness for this is something to send on a congress and pass a bill if may consider. |

I think there is a possibility on that to happen, as long as people will be educated on the benefits of using bitcoins they will not hesitate to adopt, we the use of the internet the information nowadays is just one touch away so it could happen. |

it is possible that by 2022 everyone was almost using bitcoin, but if bitcoin is really growing. and there will be people who do not use bitcoin as well because they do not know about the development of technology |

If that is the case, then paper money could not be existing now because of debit and credit cards. When these were introduced, people said that they will no longer need to work around with money hence paper money could be needless. But now, paper money is still there as much as many people are suing plastic cards in transactions... |

I completely agree with your statement, bitcoin is a revolution so it should be use in the future, bank, fiat will remain in the market as it is better to have different ways and establishment to transact with. Banks are government regulated while bitcoin is not, so that's the big difference. |

yeah maybe, as of now the bitcoin user population are getting many everyday, i saw in bitcoin facebook page that lots of new comers are asking how to get btc, where to invest, and many more, and there are some stores now that accept bitcoin, someday even our bank will use bitcoin when everyone demands it

I dont think that will happen because there are still a lot of people that is using their own payment method so it must be change a lot if you want to get used by everyone.
And of course you see now that it is becoming more popular and used but still not that much people.
