Yes, it is really possible, and lost 0,08 BTC that way, only 16$ at that time, but much more now. However, since I placed a password to my wallet (yeah, was pretty stupid to don't put one : I thought I'd have to enter it each time I would get into my wallet ), never had any problem !

With enough computer power it is possible to hack... But "enough" is a lot!

That is not a big amount of money, but is never fun to get hacked and lost your money. If someone has access to your PC or your smartphone with a virus or malware, for sure he can access and transfer the fund to another bitcoin adresse. Always a good idea to implement the basic security into your wallet

Best thing to do is to installed strong security on your pc or mobile phones and seek good advice from experts for your safety. Most importantly do not share to anyone your wallet password because it is the most reason for your account to become unsecured.

I think the best thing you can do is to actually have a new PC and ONLY use it for Bitcoin transactions. You can find one even at $100-$200, you don't need a super fast one but a simple, small and portable netbook that can run a browser on it. I'm using such a laptop for my main wallet and for the other wallets which got <$5 in them I'm using my phone or main computer.

Just come it to my mind. is it possible? to get hook into your wallet and send some to another wallet? It is indeed possible and in some ways is already done. There's softer methods (like producing viruses). These retrieve data directly and mean that less computation power is needed by the hacker (an example being the AV coin project that launched from this site a while back). There is then the "brute force" approach, which doesn't work as well with Bitcoin (as there's so many posibilities) and takes lots of time and computation due to the difficulty.

Yeah, bitcoin wallets can easily be hacked by the fault of the owner of that bitcoin wallet. He didn't secured well his wallet which makes it easy for hackers to login in his wallet and steal his bitcoin. If you secure well your bitcoin wallet and also your email, hackers won't easily steal your bitcoins.

That is not the fault of the wallet, it is a users fault that your bitcoin was stolen. It is good that you learned your lesson. I hope you used a complex password to protect your wallet now.

definitely yes, it is possible to hack your wallet and took away your bitcoin if you have been attacked by a phisher/phishing sites therefore some services including blockchain is advising us to secure our wallet with a passphrase and two factor authentication in order to be safe from the hackers because with 2FA it is very impossible for unknown person to access your wallet.

Yeah, I trust 2FA in my online wallet, so far my bitcoins are intact. I guess it only depends on the negligence of the users as there are software who will try to steal your money, beware of those and if possible do not expose your computer too much by installing unknown applications.

Due to the continued updation along with technology development hacking is highly impossible. But I have heard of very few hacks which caused due to the careless of users. Most wallets were highly secure with varying security features.

That is why it is better to store your bitcoin in an offline or hardware wallet. No one can hack your wallet if it is offline. But ifyou have to use online wallet, be sure to secure your credentials and your devices so no one can take your coins away.

I don't understand the question fully. Hacking a wallet is sort of possible if someone has an easy password. What is meant by hacking btc? Ruining the code of bitcoin? That sounds sort of possible but I would call it spoiling bitcoin, not hacking it. I surfed the Internet and found out that by hacking people usually mean stealing. And yes, it is indeed possible.

phishing will only give identifer and password and I think the phishing attack will be useless when you have such sms authentication verification or 2FA, because they will not be able to pass it, so use 2FA to avoid hacking

Just come it to my mind. is it possible? to get hook into your wallet and send some to another wallet? Yes, it is possible. Nowadays, hackers use SQL injection to hack a bitcoin wallet. So how does it works?. In order to do this, they'll send an amount into a victim's wallet. Afterwards, they would do the SQL injection that will took 7 minutes in total. After that, the amoun that they send on victim's wallet would be multiply by 2 or 10. Be careful of dropping your wallet pubplicly, and do not put all your money in only one wallet.

Hacking particular Wallet is possible, though every wallet service providers had enabled high security features. For increaesd and improved security these days lot prefer offline wallets. I haven't come across any wallet hacking but highly secure banking networks have been hacked, which describes the skills of hackers will work more than the developers.
