Things are looking pretty bright for the future of Stellar Lumens with this ICO pre sale starting tomorrow.  Enter if you haven't already and HODL.  Remember ICO is what primarily drove the price of ETH to where it is today.  Stellar is providing a solid new platform for ICO's and this is likely not going to be the first.  No way that Stellar will remain as low as it is through the next year.

How will remaining XLM be distributed? Have any details been released on more airdrops?

That's the main problem with Stellar: distribution has not ended. Remaining coins can be dumped at the exchange whenever individuals who control the reserved coins see fit. If you wonder why the price has not gone up despite good news that would put other coins in stratosphere - here is your answer.

I would like to know that as well. And also are the remaining coins locked in any way or could they be freely distributed anytime?

That would lead to coin bancrupcy.
Thats why there is "white paper" where coin developers are actualy revealing their plans..That could happen only by software and not monetary character called "hard fork" where the coin is improved by security and many other things.And second, there is community and even institution behind that and thats impossible to happen just like that.
BIG players like IBM have trust in Stellar and NOT to other coins and that is not coincidence.Have that in mind when asking yourself a question is it SAFE to invest..Yes, it is and im sure they know perfectly what they are doing.

be patient. I was holding XX K of XRP for more than 3 years. Suddenly it has  increased in price for 20 % and I dumped. In a week the price was up to 600%. You may imagine my feelings.

I think yes and the price will be rise again due to right now start there is project be built on Stellar network

It is good for stellar due to will be impact on Stellar's price, the community of Stellar too, will many people who addopt stellar

Don't expect "big" changes untill 16th November fork is done..Maybe something going to happen after November 2. but everyone is dumping altcoins to get the BTC before the fork so take your chance, buy XLM at this price and make a profit soon.I just bought 80.000 XLM
