The Stellar Network has a built-in, fixed, nominal inflation mechanism. New lumens are added to the network at the rate of 1% each year. Each week, the protocol distributes these lumens to any account that gets over .05% of the “votes” from other accounts in the network.

how do you get "votes"?

Singapore  is far ahead in promoting cryptocurrency. No wonder that Stellar has shown its ATM in that area first

1 XLM = 1 vote. So if you have 10000 Xlms in your wallet, you have 10000 votes. You can chose the beneficiary of these votes by setting your inflation destination to a stellar address of your choice.

thank you.  Grin

i'm not immediately sure how to set inflation destination, but i will poke around the software.  i assume i can set my inflation destination as one of my own addresses?

What happened? Yesterday, the capitalization was around $650,000 and there were 17,700,000,000 coins in circulation. Today we have a capitalization of $250,000 and only 7,000,000,000 coins. What happened?

What are you looking at?

Total Market capatialization.

He is right. Tokens are either sold or and taken Off

Who is to say that the purchaser is still not buying more as we speak
All for cheap. On the sly! This is huge news and the markets are just
Buzzin by. A rocket is taking Off.

The 7 billion tokens left.

Im in for a X250 Times or a $8.45 per token before 2019. Lets see

At coinmarketcap perhaps?

I don't recall yesterdays numbers. Seems you can only get history on prices, not on circulation numbers.

XLM had Market cap yesterday Of 600-650 mn $ With over 10 billion more tokens than today

Weird.. you might want to ask coinmarketcap. It could just be that they made a change to the Circ Supply for some reason that had nothing to do with tokens changing hands. Because that wouldn't change the supply numbers.

Dude not to be rude. I am onboard the rocket With many we are taking Off shortly.

Yeah why dont you contact coinmarketplace lol. Then you can report to us later. Lols. W t f

I'm glad I amuse you.

I'm not sure why you have issue with my suggestion. If someone is concerned about what they see at coin market cap, then they may care enough to ask them. But, speculation that it has something to do with private buys is just not productive.

Is this a brand new coin or a relaunch?

It's been around longer than most. The lead developer was the fellow who started Mt. Gox (before it went south under Karpeles).

Altcoins are not really lifeless, but it will shed a number of its energy and it y not be good enough to purchase different altcoins since i believe altcoins depend on the value of bitcoin. Without bitcoan how does one transform and get your wages by means of alcoins? You need a exchange to officially take your paycheck and then you can do whatever you want with it.tim

Any exchange can set up fiat pairs with any coin. You don't really NEED bitcoin. Most of the bigger coins have exchanges with USD and JPY like Eth, and Dash etc.

It is ugly to see when all the alt turn green except stellar, which remains red. When will your price rise? keep on passing and always going down

Yes, it just doesn't seem to want to breach $.04. A few months ago I considered selling this for Dash... but thought, no, I'm a believer. But, now with Stellar still sitting just under 4 cents and Dash having tripled since then it's getting harder to hold.

It's not about airdrop, the main reason price didn't go up due to huge supply of coin. You will notice same thing with Ripple & Cardano, even though they are good coin, lots of works put into, but price will not go up due to huge supply of coin.

The price will go up, just not by a whole lot. It doesn't matter though, for example, I bought Cardano at $.18. This allowed me to buy a lot of them. It's all about the % change, not the total value, because you can just buy more coins. I sold yesterday at $.30, so I almost doubled my money in less than a year. I still have high hopes for them though, just waiting for the coins to come down a little more, and I'll buy again, and probably double my money again in the next year.

If you have bought BTC a year ago you would 10x your money, not just 2x. I wonder when will everybody learn that no altcoin can grow in a long time (a year is a long time in crypto) as much as BTC. Never was and never will.

If you would have bought DASH 6 months ago, you would have achieved the same. Was and will.

It will go down eventually where it was a year ago, around 0.015 BTC, like all pump/dump schemes end. There can be a period when somebody pump the particular altcoin, but sooner or later they all end up behind the king of all coins.
