many people predict that soon there will be a dump. it makes people think to sell bitcoin they have, and maybe some people will think that bitcoin will be considered dead again. but, I feel it will not happen, because the current price of bitcoin really become stable.

We cannot blame them since they have a bad experience with the bubble of bitcoins price last 2013. What happened was bitcoins price reached 1000 dollars but suddenly it fell down tremendously causing many to loss huge profits and deal a big loss and big blow to their pockets. But this time around the price increase is not a bubble but a real value of bitcoin and not manipulated.
But the crashing was not bitcoins fault, to begin with the bubble that was forming was enormous and second the crash happen mostly by the closure of Mt. Gox the biggest exchange of bitcoin ever, right  now there is not a single exchange that comes close, so the story does not need to repeat itself.
This time, bitcoin price rise is not due to manipulation and bitcoin price from now depends on factors all over the world and not dependant on china anymore. This time, price will only go forward to much higher and not backward as it happened in january.
Dont' forget about the coming fork, I think that is going to drive the price back to $500

Yeah soon hard fork will get back the support in a short, but this won't lead for such a steep fall in price. The price fall is there, but to the maximum it might get stabilized around $800.

I have some different view in the way you are thinking about bitcoin. Bitcoin do that thing which are in benefit of us or in benefit of their organization and I don’t think bitcoin is such an organization which getting dead with no reason this is not a such a platform which built every month and dead after some period. This platform is developed from many year and bitcoin work on the trust of their investor they can’t do this with their investor and trader because bitcoin platform policy is to earn the trust of their user that’s why so many people using them in present time.

Seems like Bitcoin is actually going up for the time being. I would try to not to exchange my Bitcoins for altcoins that I don't need because the price of Bitcoin is more than likely to bring the ratio of BTC to Altcoin down leading to less Bitcoin + money to be made from the investment.

If the price dumps down to double digits then that could break Bitcoin as if the price going over $1,000 didn't happen.

going down  $1000 may not happen since its value now is playing along $1000+ value, bitcoin value now really amazed since I started from only half of it. So how come it will become dead when no alt coins exist such amount.

May not happen with the current price movement but possible in the future and that is something I don't like to see, as of now the price is going down after hitting the $1,800 and not it's currently $1,700, I hope this will not continue because we just want to see the price rising.

No matter how many times you say that bitcoin will die, it will never Die. It is the currency to due to which  R3, hyperledger, ethereum are there.
If there was no Bitcoin, there would be nothing but only FIAT.

BITCOIN WILL NEVER DIE.

Yeah i guess it is just normal to the bitcoin price to go up and down at this moment because there are also so many altcoins and that is the circulation of the market in the stock exchange. But surely bitcoin will never die and after going down it will go up again.

Those people who are always saying that bitcoin is dead are just people that want to make the price of bitcoin to dump so they can get bitcoins for a cheaper price and after that it is normal if they will promote bitcoin because that is how they will earn money.

Large groups of well paid, organized, funded professionals with clear objectives and good management - (like R3, hyperledger, ethereum, others) are sure making those Core programmers look like the silly little whiny bitches that they are.  Core is going NOWHERE and getting there pretty damn fast.  Meanwhile, very sophisticated advance is being done every day in other part of crypto/blockchain.

This is 100% the end of bitcoin as we know it.  Good thing too.  This 'open source', 'no leadership', 'no organization' thing was always a load of bullshit.
LOL I just see this post right now and when I look at the date when it was posted it was already been 1 year,
And the bitcoin is still kicking and the price is really so high right now.

LOL. Actually, those who always threaten that Bitcoin will die are the ones who are so scared to invest their money in this marvelous crypto. Just ignore them. They will soon regret for not investing more money in bitcoin

Initially this seemed like a nice article, then ended up being a complete disaster. Join the club of bad predictions.

Yes till now,Bitcoin has died more than 100 times.Lots of obituary notices of bitcoin through out media.I think the obituary notice of these people would come much before bitcoin's.Bitcoin would survive long.

bitcoin is dead again?maybe this is possible with some good reason and make sense,R3, hyperledger and ethereum are perfectly become bitcoin competitor, but i'm pretty sure, people who love bitcoin will never let bitcoin die without try to defend, lets wait for future.

Just wait until people really lose faith in government manipulated currency. Then digital currency will really take off! Not only BTC but outwards to other reliable crypto and altcoins.

Don't forget about the Australia. People in this beautiful country can pay their bill with bitcoin. And thanks to them, the price of Bitcoin has increased significantly in the early of this year. People should all support Bitcoin if they want to be rich and change the world better

A dump will happen sooner or later the issue is if bitcoin will be kept at this new lower price or if it can go up once again and the answer to that is very simple, bitcoin has always recover, a few years ago bitcoin crashed but now is back on the top.
A dump of Bitcoin will happen soon! Oh really, that will be great Grin Please the-never-see-anything-good-in-Bitcoin, precisely how soon can we expect this dump? I am one of the people that would earnestly join in mopping up the market again. At this stage of Bitcoin, I doubt dumping is anymore a significant threat, as many more bitcoiners will voraciously buy the price up again in no time.

I totally agree with you pal, the doomsayers have finally found their mouths again to speak doom after a slight drop in prices. I don't know what they get in belittling Bitcoin and causing all sorts of panic amongst newbies and wannabes.
