Can Bitcoin be used for Good?

Bitcoin has been made as i know to help, if some people does use it for dark transactions as well ilegal isnt fault of bitcoin, those happens with fiat since the begining soo why would bitcoin be different? Bitcoin has a huge power and i do hope to see people instead burning bitcoin donating then to childs, thats a good use of bitcoin.

Of course, actually I think bitcoin is very good to escape from traditional bank system, and to have true freedom over our money.

As everyone can use bitcoin with this freedom, some people use it for illegal transactions, but it doesn't mean bitcoin is bad. Acually criminals use FIAT money for illegal actions too

Yes people who are allowed to get it will receive it from the people who have it. There shall be a huge demand for charity lovers. They shall find it easier to give it to people. I believe people will buy stuff and and do lot of charity for the needy people. This should help everyone in the long term. So yes I do see Bitcoin for the good.

Bitcoin can be much used for good, but most of them prefer it for illegal needs. It depends upon the user who use it. During the past, when bitcoin was gaining popularity people preferred it for illegal needs more than the good. Now things had changed a lot than the past.

If we want to use bitcoin in our city or town then we must build awareness among merchants so that they will start accepting bitcoin as payment method. If there are enough users then automatically merchants will start accepting it so we should really contribute to build a great awareness on individual level that included telling our friends and family about bitcoin, arranging a bitcoin giveaway contest, talking about bitcoin on social media, writing blog posts in local language etc.

I think so, because Bitcoin itself was designed for good purposes, to allow people to have freedom over their own funds, being able to transfer and store value independently, without the need of intervention by central authorities or centralized financial institutions.

Yes i agree!all cryptocurrency can be use for both good and bad. Bitcoins in particular eas now using by many people, not only for the good sake but also in bad way. If the question was of bitcoin can be use for good, good as in for lifetime, i think yes, bitcoins really helps a lot, many users are enjoying the benefits of having bitcoins. Bitcoins was a big help for me. It reduces my problem in financial crisis.

Yes, of course. Most people use bitcoins for buying legal and legit stuff, its only a few percentage of the bitcoin buyers who use bitcoin for illegal stuff. Like I use my bitcoins for stuff like buying premium currency in games, as its my only goal. Others use it to buy mining stuff and some convert it to Fiat. So, bitcoin can be used for very legit stuff and even it can be used to donate to some charities that accept bitcoin.

I think just about anything would be better than the current economic system. With Bitcoin I think it levels the playing field somewhat. Hope it gains even more traction moving forward.
As for whether Bitcoin can be used for good, currency is just a tool. If you have the intention of using it for good then you most likely will. Hopefully there's enough good Bitcoin users to offset bad users with criminal intent.

Yeah, we can't blame bitcoin if it is used in an illegal way but the people that uses it in bad way. Bitcoin is created not to help those bad people but for those who uses it for good. Some people just take the advantage of bitcoin because of its anonymous transaction and its other features. Bitcoin is given a bad image because of those people.

Bitcoin at present is used for good than illegal purpose. When bitcoin as a digital currency got existed, users started using it for illegal and trades involved with transactions which is not authorized by governments. I think  bitcoin deeds depends on its holder.  Like fiat money itself which can be use in illegal activities and at the same time charities, and donations (good deeds).  And bitcoin as form of currency , the holder decides on where he want to use it.

There are a lot of good things that can be done using bitcoin, and there are a lot of proof that bitcoin helping the poor to survive, but the media never publish a good thing about bitcoin they prefer to make bitcoin looks bad, that is why most people known bitcoin as criminal coin or terrorist coin, but actually bitcoin help a lot of people in this world

bitcoin is a double edged sword on one hand using it provides security on the internet since no one can trace you down and on the other hand it provides a big opportunity for hackers and black market dealers that use it for selling drugs and other illegal stuff since it provides anonymity,but it all depends on the person that is using it

No one can really know if for what reason bitcoin was produced, maybe it was created for criminal activities, or maybe it was created for something good, but once it is made it can be used for anything, now it depends on an individual if how he/she will use it because it can be used for either way.

If it was created for criminal activities then bitcoin will not be successful, the fact that we can trade it and it is increasing it's value it's not the major activities of criminal activities is the cause, it can be use for good and bad and will only depend on the users.
