There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, which will follow the rules of the network no matter what miners do. Even if every miner decided to create 1000 bitcoins per block, full nodes would stick to the rules and reject those blocks.

I don't think it had one. The original ANN thread is in Russian and I can't see anything on it that looks like one.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=114712.0

However I can't read Russian.

New wallet version has been released, novacoin-v0.5.9: https://github.com/novacoin-project/novacoin/commits/master

Because this topic has not been updated for several years and the information in the first post has lost its relevance, I decided to start a new one.

Wallet downloads and further discussion are in the new thread: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5189560.0
