Thanks! Smiley

You only need to put your coins in your wallet and wait that they mature 30 days there. For a PoS block generation your wallet must be running and unlocked (after the 30 days).
Don't use an exchange wallet. No exchange will reward you with PoS (at least that I know off).

Cheers.

KHORE fee was reduced to 2%

Currently mining there.

Nice pool.

Just bought the cubieboard for tests...  Roll Eyes
  • Cubieboard;
  • Ubuntu 12.04 @ bootable MicroSD card;
  • Prebuilt client from sourceforge;

The fresh NovaCoin-Qt installation is syncronized in 55 minutes.

NVC client is able to utilize dual-core processors, so on Cubieboard2 it should syncronize faster.

P.S. I'll try install OS to integrated NAND memory, but later.

Is it possible to mine to a non-local wallet with NVC?

You don't have to do anything. It will happen on its own.

I don't think there is a minimum limit (I could be wrong!) but it can take a long time to mine a PoS block with small inputs.

User isn't forced to do anything, he can use inputs with any preferred size.

But from October 20 the maximum PoS block reward will be 10 coins. I.e. inputs like this will generate 10 coins instead of 100+.

what do you mean 10 NVC?
so i need to make 5 wallets and divide my 600 coins to 5 wallets to get ~50NVC every months? or just keep coins on 1 wallet and will have ~5block with 10NVC each?

it would be nice if somebody make the FAQ about all difficult POS questions

satriani

Rewards are calculated from inputs size, not from the wallet balance. You can have the same sum using completely different inputs set, 1x600/2x300/4x100+1x200/etc. Inputs could be listed using listunspent RPC command.

If you have one 600 coins input, then you can split it into into inputs set by sending it to multiple local addresses. Just create some addresses and send your coins to them.

ok thanks,
but i still think that we need a few FAQ about the most important thing like:
1. how to start
2. how to be safe
3. how to save and multiple your coins - how the POS working.
4. where we can spend out coin
5. where we can follow the charts

and it should be very detailed and post on front page of NVC. Without it NVC will discourage a lot of people (like my friend a few weeks ago).

In theory, yes. In practice it might take weeks until you find a block with 1 NVC.
