To grow the adoption of bitcoin we need people spending it as a daily currency.
In my country there is not much I cant buy with bitcoins.
Granted not a lot of retailers accept BTC yet but with all the services available now they dont need to.
A bitcoin debit card can be very handy.
Nowadays if I need to pay a bill then I can pay any bill via a site called livingroomofsatoshi
Please list any reasons why you could not use bitcoin for day to day expenses and maybe we can find a way.
In my country i can't spend a lot of bitcoins either, because only few stores accept them, but i am very sure that with time situation will change an bitcoins will be even more popular |

I use bitcoins and convert it to cash to buy my needs and now some of the merchants here in my country already use bitcoins for online purchases. Soon all of the country will be able to adapt bitcoin and use it as a normal currency.

So i need to do is cash out it to spend the money. Yes i agree that this situation change in the coming years because many people uses bitcoin and become popular. |

Spending bitcoins by converting to fiat is no more difficult now as there are many exchange sites available now but to spend them directly at physical place I think we need to wait longer. |

i like that if here in my country even im from the third world i hope i will able to see this as well bitcoin will able to change our life if successfully adopted we will able to use it in many ways especially online. |

Spending bitcoins by converting to fiat is no more difficult now as there are many exchange sites available now but to spend them directly at physical place I think we need to wait longer. This is what I am doing every time I am able to buy something and I don't have enough cash for buying it what I am doing is I just convert it. Because the usage of bitcoin here in my country are very limited, I can just use bitcoins for paying my different bills and as well as buying of prepaid load. But for other things I really need to sell it first. |

Ohhh cool. Saving for giving yourself a gift. Well, we could do that here since it is easy to earn. And if you will doing it for a year then you can have more than a phone.  I want to gift my self when christmas is comming because i have a dreamed before that i really want to achieve before the year ends or maybe after the year 2016 i want also to have a new iphone and new laptop maybe if this happen then im a happy kiddo. |

I dont remember to have anything above the 0,10 bitcoins these days, all my coins are going to for the developer make my project live, but im very happy since im following the advances all weeks, and its something i had always wanted, soo im proud to be a bitcoiner.

holding them earns more

If that is a case then you can convert your bitcoins instead into cash to be able to use some of your coins into real world. That is a good alternative compare to waiting for long time for most of the stores to accept bitcoin. It will never happen if people treats bitcoin as investment. |

If that is a case then you can convert your bitcoins instead into cash to be able to use some of your coins into real world. That is a good alternative compare to waiting for long time for most of the stores to accept bitcoin. It will never happen if people treats bitcoin as investment. That's true if you want to spend them then you can easily convert them to fiat currency for spending physically or else you can start using bitcoin debit card where you don't have to pay any conversion fees. |

I do not think that at the moment it is the best idea to be spending your Bitcoin at the moment because the halving is coming soon.
It will be better for you if you try and wait for after the halving then you can sell.
Sometimes you need to spend some bitcoin because if everyone going to hold on and save there bitcoin then the price will not rise anymore from now on. I know that most people will not spend because the bitcoin can be worth allot of money but it does not hurt to spend a bit. |

When you are using coins to buy an item from an online shop like: NewEgg, Overstock, Steam - I am quite sure that they convert BTC to FIAT in real time. So every purchase done with BTC actually may bring down price a little. |
