To grow the adoption of bitcoin we need people spending it as a daily currency.
In my country there is not much I cant buy with bitcoins.
Granted not a lot of retailers accept BTC yet but with all the services available now they dont need to.
A bitcoin debit card can be very handy.

Nowadays if I need to pay a bill then I can pay any bill via a site called livingroomofsatoshi

Please list any reasons why you could not use bitcoin for day to day expenses and maybe we can find a way.

One reason i can pointout why  i cant use bitcoin in daily expenses is maybe the bitcoins is still developing in our country and bitcoins is still not well knowned and appriciate by other people here in my country.

That is one of the problems into why bitcoin cannot move forward.
Pessimistic minds of other people. Just imagining how they can use it makes them back out.
Without any reason to where they could spend or use it, it will be harder to pull more investors.
It cannot be just Japan or China who will move forward. We need it to be global.

Well, if you are not living in a develop countries like big countries you cannot fully enjoy spending your bitcoin. For me, I am already satisfied with my exchange since I can easily cash out my money and use it to buy things that I need, also when there are only few opportunity to spend, I was able to use my money in investing or trading which gives me a good return.

Like here in my country spending bitcoin is not yet available since there is no offline stores accepting bitcoin as form of payment yet but i can spend it by exchanging it to real money in my country of fiat.
But i can spend it by paying my bills, credit cards and loading my mobile phone for continuous access in bitcoin.

ya, i the same like you, in my country, I cannot use bitcoin for transactions, i just use bitcoin for online transaction, buy goods that i want, and doing the payment other, so i just hunt bitcoin and take it bitcoin for I change become fiat, may if bitcoin already accepted on my country, and can using bitcoin on offline store, market, and all store, it would greatly facilitate to use bitcoin. but for now, I just online transactions, or return invest or selling it, or be exchanged to money.. hopefully bitcoin fast growing and I can transaction bitcoin in all places.

As time goes by, bitcoin could compete with fiat money as modernization develops. This innovstion is something that would relally make huge changes in future. Currently, people are adopting in bitcoin and as every people adopted it already, that's the time that we are capable to use it everyday.

Bitcin doesn't need a high level promotion since it's popular enough that many people know it and they will use that if they are interested.

Oh really?? From where did you find that bitcoin is enough popular in all the corners of the world? The popularity of bitcoin is limited only to this forum and none from outside of this forum are aware about bitcoins yet and you should know that.

Yes, you are right - a debit card is very convenient. Thanks to such a card, you can order goods via the Internet.
But some people do not want to spend their bitcoins. They believe that soon the price will become very high. I also believe in it and do not spend bitcoins

There are places in the world like as in Japan where is very easy to spend directly your coins. Recently, one of the biggest electronic retailer shop in conjunction with a bitcoin payment processor company they developed a new point-of-sale system (POS) that allow customers to purchase goods with bitcoin up to (900 usd). The higher fees are not the only problem that lies in people spending their coins. Another problem is one that people seem to ignore -- merchants making use of third party payment processors. Main thing is that if we do happen to spend our coins on a massive scale, the coins that we send to these payment processors will eventually be sold, and thus negatively influence the market in the long run. Other than that, people should spend that what is the most convenient for them, and that's still fiat.

It would be really great if this currency will be used as like fiat money for day-to-day expenses. The problem is, we cannot spend bitcoins for small transactions because of the mining fees which would be very expensive in a longer point of view. I guess bitcoin would be better seen as your life savings or a bank for future purposes as we can see its price inflation as time goes by.

yes that can be right, but i think as in most of the places where the facilities of bitcoin to be use it in for shopping are not available in most of the area, so therefore people there save their bitcoin for the price increase and specially when the price of bitcoin is contentiously increasing.

Some people may save but most of the people are not into investing, huge volume of bitcoins that are circulating are coming from
the gambling industry, and this people does not care about the value as they are more concern on how to win.

If you choose use Bitcoin debit card, why do not sell it to FIAT for keep your money stable lol ? Do you know the fluctuation in Bitcoin not useful for purchase daily? And when you use Bitcoin debit, it makes you waste your bitcoin (small fees), not better than FIAT.

Bitcoin is not widely used in my country nor even known. There is really not much option rather using bitcoin for online payments. I do use bitcoin daily for buying my Mobile load. Other than that, I have to convert bitcoin to fiat to be able to make use of it for my daily expenses.

we are the same. Because in Philippines there is no thing you can buy through the used of bitcoin. Maybe if the thing that you will going to buy was from your friend who uses bitcoin too so you can pay him/her with bitcoin but other than only mobile load. Every time I need to buy things or staff that I want or I need, I convert it first into fiat and withdraw it any bank that is available. I think it may depend where country you belong because as far as I see there are some country who accept bitcoin as a way of payment.

Lol, I’ve never bothered about ordering a Bitcoin debit card from my provider. All I do is sell to a trusted exchanger. A Bitcoin debit card is more costly than selling to an exchanger and withdrawing with my own bank card. The only stores you will see accepting Bitcoin in my country are exchanger walk-in centers.

The problem with spending BTC is that next year (or decade) the price you paid would look to you just crazy and you will most certainly regret. BTC will never be a payment solution because of that matter. More like haven of assets, but not a day-to-day usage
