Waiting for the landlord to receive the wire transfer because you know...antiquated banking systems and such... If it were legal for businesses to use Bitcoin during these types of transactions, it would have been done over a week ago But alas, that is why were are all here trying to get the real world to catch up Cheers! Oh, sorry! I also misunderstood your question! There will also be a Cadastral Oracle that takes a small fee for the transaction, but if it is a local farmer in Ghana for example, the GOVERNMENT would purchase their entry credits, and not the individual. Then witnesses will receive Cadastrals for being the "witness" to a "Bitland Oracle" transaction. So there WILL be a reward mechanism for those who hold Cadastrals, as the "Witnesses" will be randomly selected from the active list of Cadastral holders. To be clear, there WILL be a "smart contract" system using Cadastrals that has an Oracle and Witnesses. We are working on the information flow and going to have an Alpha relatively soon Cheers! Chris Yes, now you understood my question and the answer was something I was expecting. Now this all makes sense I think that I understand the value of Cadastrals!

Yes, sometimes in text the meaning isn't first clear, and it just takes a reread. Yes, we are EXTREMELY excited to be working on the Alpha and working with OpenLedger to get the voting systems in place. The great thing about being being a small tight-knit community is that you all will get to see the progress first hand, so when we start making major headway, you will know you were here from the beginning You guys get to set the tone for the community as it grows, and if we are all here posting hip hop videos and discussing transaction oracles, I believe we are headed in the right direction Cheers! Chris Sometimes there is also a language barrier so I am not blaming you! As said, I now seem to understand the whole picture and start to think that I should have bought some while it was still cheap. Maybe I just now wait for the free coins to be dumped

So, the official speaker event schedule is listed for the Aix-en-Province event: http://lesrencontreseconomiques.fr/2016/events/conquete-territoires-toujours-dactualite/?lang=enOn the panel I am speaking are as follows: Jérôme NANTY General Secretary Transdev Erik ORSENNA Member Académie française Leonid M. GRIGORYEV Deputy Director General the Russian Energy Agency Laurent MOREL Chairman of the Executive Board Klépierre Now, if you look up ANY of those organizations, you will see what a big deal it is for Bitland to be representing blockchain tech next to them on the world stage. This is the big time people Big things are coming for Bitland Cheers! Chris

To put that into perspective:
If Bitland secures a 20 Million dollar government contract, 4 million of that will go towards reserve/token support.
That reserve will be subject to the vote of community decision on what to do with it in the future, as Openledger is building in a voting system that will allow DAO operations based on whatever the community decides. The future voting system is part of why we decided to team with Openledger/Bitshares/CCEDK.
To be quite honest, based on the potential associated with unlocking land capital, we could easily raise 40,000 bitcoin, but we want the pilot to be done as lean as possible to show that we can do it lean. In that regard, once we can show the government and the locals that a solar-powered wi-fi network can be implemented, and the resulting capacity to monitor land transactions, it will be a matter of the packaged solution being sold to governments with developing areas. 90% of Africa is undocumented. Half of the world's arable land is within that 90% of undocumented land. One company won't be able to do it all, so realistically the room for growth is just too dramatic to really understand without watching something like the 15 minute presentation that Joeri posted earlier.
When you see the grand scale, it's pretty phenomenal.
Cheers!
Chris
I feel it's appropriate to repost this from April. As we are about to open our first facility, and are working on the Alpha, I believe the people who have been here from day one will support that we have been talking about "running lean" from the beginning as the best strategy for testing software/infrastructure. Sometimes it's best to see what you can do with the least before you get access to a lot of capital. It actually breeds creative solutions where others can just throw money at things. Throwing money at problems becomes a bad habit that eventually results in a cataclysmic event that needs real incident response team and not just "money". This is what we have been trying to assert all along, and NOW I believe that message will resonate more with crypto community. Cheers! Chris

I cannot speculate as I have no idea friend, but I would think a place to store cad away from simply OL will be a thing.
Just a guess, perhaps mr bates can answer. ^^

OL stores everything in cold storage, so until you withdraw, nothing is in a "hot wallet" so to speak.
