Anybody know how to get the gpu miner to detect my cards? I can mine other coins just fine, but sgminer just wont work for some reason.

It says no opencl devices found

same problem with 6970. My GTX 780 Ti only gets 150KH/s.
My i7 4829K get 155 KH/s, what am I doing wrong?

lol its better if you like a bunch of rss feeds and spammy menus/extra bs in your bitcoin apps. if you just want to know the price, 24hr high 24hr low fast. as most do. bitinfo is the best there is. it has added function based on what people really want. address lookup for espers, make sure ur balance is still there on the fly. and block time for btc. make sure ur transaction will get confirmed before purchase. bitinfo isnt a fluffy app. its a real tool for real crypto people.

@Everyone -

Last night we tested the new v0.8.0.5 and it flawlessly upgraded from the old 0.8.0.3 and 0.8.0.4 clients which had featured the original and primitive updater.

Currently for the new 0.8.0.5 here is the rundown of what to expect:

1. Selectable auto updates (toggle on or off)
2. manual update check
3. Downgrade feature implemented (please note 0.8.0.5 is the base version for this new system as such once 0.8.0.6 releases you will be able to downgrade to 0.8.0.5)
3. Mining functions for CPU + GPU now built into the client, they are not up to par where we'd like them but they function and due to this update already being HORRIBLY delayed we will be launching it with the limitations. (no drop down select for GPU model yet).
4. Bug reporting will be fully activated in 0.8.0.6.

In otherwords this update will be a major stepping stone. 0.8.0.6 will follow this release closely with the full functionalities of mining and bug reporting along with a port to other OS systems as promised.

The new system also removes three (3) of the old system's programs and consolidates them into a nice 3 program package that are in addition to the Qt client.
This makes for a much cleaner system and should now alleviate those weird "client not launching" on some user's systems.


Sorry for not posting all yesterday I personally was very busy working on this project. Today I'm personally stuck at my day job for most of the day, afterwords we will run some final tests (not releasing anything buggy) and then we will finally release this long overdue client.

From now on we will be settings dates of completion and striving to meet them. You can expect a 2 week wait for 0.8.0.6 after the 0.8.0.5 is released soon.
in those two weeks we will polish everything up from the 0.8.0.5 stepping stone and finally be where we want to be.
Then another two weeks and 0.8.0.7 will be ready with the new themes and selectable client system.

If you have any questions please feel free to ask. Sorry I have not had a chance to read through all the posts, however from what we did see there has been a lot of tolerance and support and we thank you very much for this. You guys are awesome thank you.
