There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, which will follow the rules of the network no matter what miners do. Even if every miner decided to create 1000 bitcoins per block, full nodes would stick to the rules and reject those blocks.

looks like the esper2/btc market is stuck @ 1 sat sells & no bids.

There is no esp2-btc market practically. Any movement happens on the ltc market

I've noticed.

Not sure what you'd mean by this, market potential is completely irrelevant with this project, after all as any project only time will tell.

After swapping end date, there will be the possibility to keep up in development having got a good amount to spend on promotions; in that moment there will be the real birth of the coin

^^^ Smiley

Why not use the extra Espers as a development fund. It can be dispersed when milestones are reached. When the milestones are reached the price will rise and developer/s get paid for their work.

That's pretty much what's going to happen, though instead of a Dev fund it will go to a Community Fund instead. There will be weekly meetings held that will be open to any community member to join and put their 2 cents in about what promotions, events, giveaways and such should be conducted as well as the details of the events.

The amount going to the Community Fund will be publicly announced at the end of swap when the Original client for the new Espers chain is finally locked until community decided use

Believe Pallas' and Wolf's mine with a 6 series AMD

The only thing not quite out yet is the built feature. We finished 90% of the functionality of it, but wanted to take some extra time on it. It still will go through revisions just like any feature but it should be much more convenient than manually setting up a miner.

Just as a heads up the built in miner functionality will currently work for Linux and Windows, currently still working on a Mac solution.

people any news?when I come here I see one talk. already half a year

Actually quite a lot has gone on in just half a year. Yes the bigger goals are still pending but we believe will be worth the wait.
Plenty of things in the works. Despite the seeming silence.

What are the new features of ESP2?

Well coming very soon, just like the end of the swap, is the built-in mining for the client as well as a bootstrap system for the client that will allow the user to intuitively download the chain from the get-go and enjoy a low sync time.

This is not to diminish from the bigger mailing and site on chain features but some things are needed to set the groundwork for those features.

When swap over and ESP ready,
think a BTC market launch could be done.

For example community found can be used to vote on
https://www.livecoin.net/
https://c-cex.com/?id=vote
...

To be added on vote list on https://www.livecoin.net/, dev have to ask.
it's quiet a good exchange with volume.

and why not Bittrex...

As it's been stated quite frequently, the market will find it's place when the core features are completed. Right now it's still young and "scary" for most people to get involved and we really haven't been running marketing campaigns. Things can always improve.

That's an interesting idea, be sure to suggest it in the meetings for what to do with the community fund. Smiley

Thanks for the heads up. We've also contacted CoinMarketCap so hopefully they'll correct the Espers info (they've already put ESP2 up but the info was incorrect)

Edit: Apparently Espers is already added to the voting list! Smiley

Just noticed - the ANN has a broken link.  Can't access the CPUminer in first post.

I uploaded two resources for those in need:

cpuminer-hmq1725-win64

cpuminer-hmq1725-master

Mega directory (both folders)

Hope this helps.....?

Not sure if the programs/source code is outdated, but I just tested the win64 miner (intel) successfully:

Pointed at http://esppool.sytes.net:8000/

All you need to do is edit the .bat file(s) accordingly & run.  Cheers Smiley
