Hi Viana, the exchanges are currently updating their wallets or have already done so. If you have your coins stored on an exchange, everything should be fine.

This should be done promptly otherwise u will be booted out of crypto. U need to prepare for harsh times, spare more food and earn dividends from people issuing them if u want to stay here and be able to fly overseas every year on a brand new jet. Being into trading will not make u better, it will only create a false impression of joy and fulfillment.

Hello Everyone ,

I'd like to take a moment and finally post on here again (like many of you have been reminding me to do more often ) since we do have a few developments as of late.

Firstly there is a new AMD miner for all you PoW miners out there who want to take a whack at mining Espers' HMQ algorithm. The "Miner ANN" link to the mining program's ANN has download links and much more information including configuration examples and other resources. This new mining program is built by "andrucrypt" (big round of applause!) and supports the following AMD GPUs:

- Baffin: RX460, RX470, RX480 and some RX550
- Ellesmere: RX560, RX570, RX580
- gfx900: Vega 56/64

Second, we have a new version rolled out for the Espers client (wallet) that has some improvements over the previous v0.8.7.3 release. This new update is NOT mandatory but is highly recommended.

Finally is that as some of are you already aware we have finally implemented the Xnode framework and are currently running tests. Although there has not been a public test wallet released you may track the progress the team makes on the CryptoCoderz GitHub under the Xnode testing branch which will be merged to the mainnet after it is deemed stable and functions correctly. Currently we're addressing a syncing hiccup with the new test wallet and once that is addressed plan to release it for public testing along with providing some information and announcements regarding xnodes and future Espers development.

As @Monoxide pointed out a few posts back please also be sure to join our Discord to stay more directly in touch with us and the community and as always, thank you all very much for being a part of the community and project.

It does work on Server 2008R2 which is also x64.

To everyone here, we the team are aware of this current issue that is causing our website to be falsely flagged as a site that contains malicious software (undoubtedly due to the wallet files being hosted there which will never happen again because obviously Google has no concept of safe vs bad files) and we are working to resolve this. First will be to remove all hosted files and host them on an alternative server.

Conveniently GitHub releases has the latest versions available that we will be linking to from now on and using GitHub to host the majority of our releases to avoid and future issues.

While we wait the atrocious week for a review from Google and their infinite wisdom to okay our site which was never bad in the first place (I will gladly show source code for all files hosted on the server and their origins if anyone has speculations, I don't host malicious software and never will, period)

If you're willing to overlook Googles sheer idiocy and incompetence the site is still up and live and available if you click "details" and "visit site anyway".

Hello guys and thank you very much for being a part of the project and community. Let me go ahead and assure you that you're not the only ones experiencing the issue and it is due to a hard update that is required. please clear your data directory out completely (except for Espers.conf and wallet.dat) and restart the wallet.

Not affected. Espers is based on 0.8 codebase.

I can not sync my wallet by using the given snapshot source, so can you help me to sync it?
I guess there are minor steps have not stated clearly in the guideline on how to use the snapshot source.

Bro, I just downloaded the latest wallet from the espers.io website.  The wallet started syncing right away with this version.  Try taking your wallet.dat file (back it up first, if you haven't already) and then move it into another folder or your desktop.  Delete the Espers folder in AppData.  After doing all of this, run the new Espers exe file that you downloaded from the website.  After it opens up let it fully sync, and then after it fully syncs, close the wallet.  After it's closed go into the new Espers Folder in AppData, delete the new wallet.dat file that is in it.  And now move your old wallet.dat file into the new Espers folder.  Now run again the new Espers Wallet exe.  This should solve your issue.  Please respond if you have further issues.

If this doesn't work either, then you're firewall might be blocking the APP or possibly an anti-virus program.  You can allow Espers in your firewall settings, in and out traffic.  And allow Espers in your anti-virus programs or turn them off.
