Keep talking admiral, and watch the price go up every minute lol.

I'm holding most for years, as are most of the optimistic/smart/greedy among us. Don't know how you think the market could get flooded when there' so much demand and so little supply that the price is already out of your comfort zone. Putting it on exchanges unleashes a lot more demand than supply obvs... only some of us want to sell some of our coins, but a lot of people are going to want to invest in and use iota over the next few months/years.

I'm glad you already missed the boat... my min selling price to sell a small fraction of my stash just went up to 1btc per 10Gi, see you there in a few months, wonder if your bag will still be empty while mine doth overflow? Wink

Admiral_no_bags

Well, well, well; what do we have here? Of course an iota scalper. This is agenda!

Again this goes out to all potential buyers: Dont pay scalping prices via BTCtalk. Over the last 24 h i was called a fudder, troll and some way worse things by the sellers who are trying to rip you off. 1,5 BTC / 100GigIota is not covered by the real demand. Over here demand is dictated by the few sellers who work together to rig prices.

Check the last few pages of this topic and see for yourself who talked against me, who insulted me.

IMPORTANT
Don´t buy 100GIota for more than 0,5 BTC; just don´t do it; you are getting scammed. Wait for the exchanges!

a little story to the guy above,

everyone: sure! of course! this is way too expensive!! we will not pay that price

guy 1 <thinking>: ok but i am willing to pay a bit more to outbid everyone else and get those iotas i want. i am willing to do 0.51btc per Tiota..

guy2 <thinking>: ok but i am willing to pay a bit more to outbid everyone else and get those iotas i want and probably someone willoutbid me at 0.51btc so i am willing to do 0.52btc per Tiota because i am comfortable with that price.

...

guy n <thinking>: ok but i am willing to pay a bit more to outbid everyone else and get those iotas i want and probably someone willoutbid me at 0.5 +n-1 btc so i am willing to do 0.5 +n btc per Tiota because i am comfortable with that price.

it goes on and on until everyone is willing and able to pay only at the market price. calling everyone to buy or not buy is not how economics works.

did you do econ101? : ))

Lol indeed check... i was in ico and have not made any offers to sell in here, nor will I on exchanges for a long time.

Hardly scalping to point out how stupid your opinion is.

Price is determined by supply and demand, NOT how much profit you think is reasonable for the ICO holders.

Well it is if you are trade within an intransparent structure. As i said before. There is no market Price right now. The prices are made up by a few sellers. And they Lure inexperienced buyers into overpriced stocks. Happened before, will happen again. Im here to point that out...

Interesting, why they don't ask 100x more... Shouldn't be a problem for made up prices, should it?

wtf? They are doing this. One second they ask 3000% over ico, the next one 10.000%.

BTW. what about my bet:

im betting 0,5 BTC that exchange prices of IOTA will be under 0,5 BTC / 100Gigiota 24 hours after exchange start.

@Sellers: Since your prices are so modest, whats the prob with joining the bet? Just do it...

This is free market dude. You missed the Ico, it happens.
You think the price is too high? You just wait till it hits the exchange then.
As always the price could be higher and it could be lower, nobody knows.

Have you even downloaded the wallet and taken a look?

Dont distract now; just join the bet...
This is not a question of potential prices but an example of rigged otc offers. The sellers around here dont even believe in their own stories. This OTC market is a platform to rip off people who didnt do due diligence before buying; nothing more...

This "definition" is too vague. There is hardly a coordinated launch, so which exchanges? Or just the first one to allow trading? If so, do we also accept Yobit and the like?
What about the 24 hours: at a precise time? Some hourly average? ...

Propose a real bet, otherwise I consider this trolling.

Again, this is the Market. You want something I have, you need to pay the price I value it on, not what you want to pay for it.

Really; i dont care. It doesnt matter on which exchange we are betting. Lets just take the first one. Lets say, 24 hours after market start on the first exchange the price of 100GIOTA has to be under 0,5 BTC. This bet is precise enough for me. Feel free to change the details; i will most likely accept the bet...

Just do it...

That is what a crooked seller would say... im saying; this otc board has nothing to do with free market. it serves a few crooked sellers who joined to try selling overpriced iota...

Again, i dont care how many sellers put me on ignore. This is for potential buyers:

Beware of price gouging!!!

I´d like to remind all potential buyers of the fact, that all IOTA OTC offers on BTCtalk are way beyond any reasonable market price . Before you buy from OTC sellers keep in mind that the current offers reflect a projected initial market cap of 15 - 30 million $. Price markups reach from 2000% - 4000% on the initial ICO price. --> The price your seller actually payed for his coins.

There is not one single crypto or oldschool derivate which would have justified an ICO or IPS surcharge of over 2000 %. Remember; Bitcoin uplift took several years; Etherium exchange price was way below current IOTA ICO price multiplicators

It just does not happen on this planet... If you buy 100Gigiota for 1,5 BTC now you will get ripped off and it will take months of market time to recover from your financial quick shot.

As for a serious suggestion: Wait to buy IOTA until they are traded on the exchanges. All market rules indicate an exchange price which does not exceed 100GIOTA / 0,5 BTC.

Right now OTC sellers can be devided into 1 of the following strategies:

1. Seller believes that exchange price will be way lower than rigged OTC offers on Bitcointalk. If this would not be the case, seller would wait until the sale on exchange markets
2. Seller believes that the outlook on IOTAS potential is overall limited and expects an early crash. Selling via OTC has biggest potential of ROI

Consider; what other reason would a seller have to offer IOTAS at the current price? If prices on exchanges happen to magically multiply by 3 - 10 times of current OTC price (this would constitute an initial exchange markup of 6000 % to 40000% compared to ICO), why would anyone sell now? Charity?

You see; none of the offers here will lead you to quick ROI. Every investment into a new cryto coin comes along with a certain degree of risk. Buying OTC prices will multiply your risk. Believe me; risk assessments are part of my daily business....

Conclusion: All IOTA OTC offers on BTCtalk are intransparent, rigged and overpriced.

Think now; thank me later. If you think my post is FUD just recalculate your risk for yourself...
