Have you ever lost Bitcoin?

If that happened, why?   Was it your own fault,  or were you scammed?
Yeah I lost some bitcoin in my very first transaction. I don't even know how. Maybe it was the wrong address. But the transaction was very quick. Maybe I used bitcoin for the transaction fee.  Smiley

Yes I always lost my bitcoins. It is both. I was scammed at the same time it was my own fault. I lost my bitcoin to scammers three times already. But mostly i lost my bitcoins in gambling in huge amount. I am regretting that I became addicted to gambling especially dice games before my hard earned money for a week/month gone in a flash.Right now I stopped gambling and I no longer invest in any HYIP to avoid scams.

Lost some trading and gambling, but overall I've made more than what I lost. The losses were due to dicing and buying into pumps, so I do not do that anymore.

Good for you to stand again of what you have lost. as for me i have been scammed many times i guess its because i easily trust anything that i know i can earn like hyip and doublers. but now i am more careful, its hard to lost bitcoins because its hard to earn it as well.

Yes i lost bitcoin before but i was scammed because i give my account with 20k bits to a player that earned a lot of bits on a gambling site because he told me that he will double that amount and if he loss he will replace that amount with his own bitcoins. So it got my attention and give my account to him and then after 6 hrs i got shocked because the 20k bits that i deposited is transfered to another bitcoin address Sad.

Just avoid gambling sites because you will not earn great amount of winnings there because even you win sometime you will end up loosing your coins. If you ask me just forget that amount and try other ways of earning bitcoin like trading, signature campaign and other methods because if you don't forget that such a huge amount of loss it will result you to continue coming back to that site and keep loosing all your bitcoins again Sad.

Lol I'm sure you invest in the site ponzi/hyip masquerading as cloudmining sites they are not cloudmining sites. if you want to do research before you invest I'm sure you will not invest in hashocean or other ponzi site. cloudmining original site would not possible be a scam

No i didnt lost any bitcoins.
but  as what i observed some People seem so willing to hand over their trust to strangers or put themselves in vulnerable situations for profit.

I'm wondering if the majority of these coins were mined rather than bought. My thinking is that someone is a lot more likely to gamble with a mined coin because it doesn't "feel" as real as one that was bought, even though they are worth the same.

If you have lost bitcoins in a scam, did you mine them rather than buy them? Do you think there is any merit to my hypothesis? Just curious out there.
