Hash ocean mining scam is number one, Bitcoin Doubling, even some faucet that fail to pay after performing the required task
I never trust those website Scheme Ponzi website are not real one where they offering cloud mining services and after a long run they going to scam people and also some faucet are offering high of earning in satoshi are scammed too lots of people are creating crap site to earn money.

Yeah and this sites have become a real headache for its users as it creates bad image of bitcoin in the minds of people who wants to enter the world of bitcoins.
Yes if the weebsite are turn into scam after you deposited a minute ago and you realize the schem ponzi scambug website are not paying investors at all thats a really messed you've done in your life traing is much more appropriate for me you can resell the coins if ever.

Its better not to get greedy and be satisfied with what we are earning at a moment as those sites will surely scam  you and disappear with your money in long run.

Being greedy is the main reason why  we  keep falling on those ponzi hyip sites out there because we are still believing on easy profits or easy money. You are right we must be  contented on what we are earning  as of now and  dont ask for more, if you do other  things or works  then  it might possible to increase your income , just stay way from those easy money  sites out there.

Exactly and we need to keep in our minds that all that glitters is not gold, if you come across through some attractive and unrealistic numbers then its better to stay away from them.

He is not saying about investing in gold but he is saying that if you see any investment related to bitcoins which doesn't sounds realistic should be avoided.

No, I have never lost Bitcoin. Ever since, before I do an action, I repeatedly ask my friends about it. If I'm doing okay, if my actions were correct, they were the judge of it. So, never have I lost Bitcoin by accidentally sending to a wrong address, or getting scammed by someone.

On rare occasions, when I was  trading. It is an unpredictable market,  as they say. But over time you  learn how to make better  movements. It is important to be always up to  date with the news and  development of the crypto projects.

Well most cases of lost bitcoin are made by gambling and trading.  Some hacking too.  But we can avoid this stuff by first, learning how to trade.  Don't just  jump in  to trading without knowing the basics.   Second avoid  gambling, it is more likely that you will lose your BTC and tighten your account security.

Actually getting scammed is your own fault mostly so in the poll it should just be it was my own fault or i was scammed but both options should not be there... I was also scammed before and i feel it was always my own fault because i became to earn a lot in less time so i had to suffer...

On which site did you trade with him? I don't know which country you belong to but for me localbitcoins is the best site to buy bitcoins, as all the traders are trusted people and will never scam you.

it may sound a bit harsh to some people, but in most cases it's indeed their own fault. no matter how trusted a certain seller or site where you can invest your money in may look, there is always a risk of getting scammed. in most cases greed is so strong, that people overlook, or don't care about the risks. it's sad that it happens, but it's the hard reality.

Exactly people just focus on the results that they are showing them, so without doing any calculation people invest their money in those sites and end up loosing every thing.

I never lost any single Bitcoin nor altcoins. I quite few times heard and read that some people were complaining or remaining without funds from wallets. There should be taken some extra steps when you are willing to store your coins locally. A good antivirus with encrypted wallet is good way of protecting like me.

If you know that luck is not in your favor in gambling the you should quit gambling and save those coins for he future and you will be making good profits only by holding them and selling when price goes higher.

Really? This is the first time that seeing someone and saying that he never lost bitcoin or alt coins. Is that for real? I can't really believe that there are few people like you. Maybe you are just lucky that you haven't victimized by those hyip's or cloud mining scams because most of the people here lost their bitcoins because of it.

Exactly and its hard to believe that he haven't lost even a small amount till date, and if that is the truth then he is really lucky guy, as almost all users have lost their coins somewhere in the past.

Have you ever lost Bitcoin?

If that happened, why?   Was it your own fault,  or were you scammed?
yes, I've lost bitcon. I've lost bitcoin because of my own mistake or being cheated. The most painful thing for me was duped by my own friends. I'm so sorry to have known him

I agree because upon reading the threads here in forum many are became a victim of scams when they are newbies so it tends that almost 100% had experience to lost bitcoin. But it is not convincing that he haven't lost any single bitcoin or alt coins or maybe he is just not a risk taker and he is just keep on holding that for a long time.
