The Bitcoin software, network, and concept is called "Bitcoin" with a capitalized "B". Bitcoin currency units are called "bitcoins" with a lowercase "b" -- this is often abbreviated BTC.

Waves sales, similar to the pattern with Lisk. I like all 3 projects.

In fact, i like all ICO coins... they give most of the time good profit... that doesn't mean that all ICO coins are good for the long run, but they are great for the short run and some of them for the long run Smiley

I like how methodical Rise is on how they are preparing for launch. They communicate their plan frequently and effectively. I don't feel like investors are an afterthought. Great job so far.

Daily Dev Update

Getting closer to Mainnet and end of ICO! Thank you all for the support!

Couple of things. This morning during testing of the new 2FA structure, we found a couple of bugs. Due to some other obligations, I wasn't able to address them today, nor was Nathan. Nathan fixed a couple of them this evening, and I will be testing again in the morning, and getting them integrated to the Rise.Vision website. This includes the ability to reset password (which will also reset 2FA) via emailed token, and a revamped 2FA configuration process which includes a verification, which will reset the 2FA configuration to nothing if you fail it.

We are also putting the final touches on Mainnet, and then next week we will be undergoing load testing.

Also, for those of you who like to automate your infrastructure, and want to configure nodes for Rise, we will be supporting Ansible configuration management to start with, with Chef and Puppet following after launch.

Windows Desktops who want to run nodes, will have to download a VM. No complicated docker configuration, no significant command line use, in fact, no command line use at all if you don't run a delegate. Just download, run in the VM software of your choice, get the IP, and off you go! It'll be preinstalled with defaults, using the installer that you will be able to run to configure your own nodes.

Thats it for tonight.

I tried to join the ICO, but the 2FA token isn't valid. I tried to add it to my smartphone, but it does not recognize it as a qr-code. Now I can't login to my account.

I had the same problem. PM RiseVision and he'll help you get back into your account. I had to manually enter the key into my 2FA app. The QR code doesn't work. But I think a wallet update is fixing that.

Rise Devs seem competent enough to pull off this project.  Looking good so far with over $600k raised.  Smiley

Thanks for the update.
I was wondering though, right now there are only 6 days left for MainNet and  there are no Standby Delegates on TestNet.
Rise Team will have to run all 101 Delegates to sustain the NW and you still dont have anyone testing the swithcing of delegates while forging, which is a very tricky part of it.
Rise will stay completly centralized until the GenesisDelegates are taken down, how long do you predict that process will take?

We have 2 non-team member delegates right now, and some of the non-founding team members are planning on running some delegates as well. The genesis delegates (which will be named RiseDelegate_#) will always be available as standby delegates in order to ensure we always have enough active delegates available.

Darkoth89 and Aetsen have been helping with the testing and configuration of delegates. Both of them were able to get delegates running, and forging, and switched off of some Genesis delegates.

We will be pushing forward more heavily next week on delegates. This past week has been mostly about infrastructure and making sure we would be able to handle whatever load we see on launch day.

Are you using another TesNet?

Thanks, hard to gauge these days, a lot of money (similar to IOTA), but compared to WAVES & LISK is a lot less

Investment Statistics #24

Comparison of the ICO investment and user base numbers showing approx 24 hours ago until now (time of this post).

Users: 4726 to 4846 = 120 Newly registered signups on rise.vision

Total Btc invested: 820.36 to 849.42 = 29.06 extra Bitcoin raised for RISE development.

Individual Investments: 4553 to 4666 = 113 more investments made.

Out of the 4666 individual investments, 2707 were referred.

For yesterdays stats: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1445947.msg15247847#msg15247847

Six days until the ICO closes on the 24th of June.

How to get maximum votes to become a Rise Delegate:

Submit a proposal like this one:

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1445947.msg15225366#msg15225366

And, we'll add your link in the main Rise announcement under "Community Delegate Vote Proposals" for people to review and hopefully vote for you... get maximum exposure!

Keeping links to proposals listed in the op is also a good way for us to keep them organised.

With 9 days left until mainnet we'd like to have as many people as possible ready to become active delegates from day one.

If you need any support in order to get your node / delegate ready then please join the slack channel (https://slack.rise.vision/) and a team member or community member will be there to assist.

Over to you guys! Smiley
