steam is already receiving bitcoin, but actually I have not felt the change of it. Well, maybe the player using bitcoin steam still confused or do not know what it bitcoin
are you talking about bitcoin doesn't give a change to the steam?,it's false, bitcoin actually give more income to the steam because the people who use bitcoin could pay the stuff directly so people will feel buying games in steam is easy and why not give it a try,and then the income rising, and the simplicity is such an advantage for bitcoin users

Steam accepting btc will affect forum market and just the general market, btc will get more attention > more popular > more global > more money, chain effects. Btc needs as much publicity as it can get (positive publicity)

We had many bitcoin steam individual resellers and big services like G2A offering Steam games for btc in the past. And they are going to stay, nothing is gonna change because these they are usually offering lower prices for games that Steam. Buying games from Steam directly is only advised if: 1. You can't find the game you want anywhere else. (very unlikely) 2. There is Steam Sale going on. Even then you should not directly put BTC into steam. Steam wallet funds are worth less than paypal/BTC so you can get like 10-20% off. For example, you can buy CS:GO keys for around 1.9 to 2$ in BTC and sell them on the community market for around 2.5$. Or buy skins from bitskins.com too. It is great that steam accepts bitcoins i dont even know why people hate it because there are always some people who want to pay trough bitcoin on the steam forum dont you think allot of gamers would use bitcoins.

I think it'll raise further awareness, but at this point we might be starting to reach awareness saturation. In order to move forward we need to increase conversions for those aware of Bitcoin to get some bitcoin.

For sure it is going to increase awareness of the people and it did happened that steam is already accepting bitcoins for the payment of their products. But I doubt if what 'forum' market is op talking about here. If he talks about this forum of bitcointalk then it is not going to affect the forum instead it is going to affect the economy of bitcoin.

Steam accepting bitcoin is going to run the market for a little while. There's lots of ways to get discounted games and then to sell them full price on forum or maybe 10% off might be good business.

What am I supposed to tell you it's a referral link? Sorry didn't realize that. I'll add it to the original post? Or should I just take the link down?
To be honest a quick search of Steam bitcoin throws up many a thread. So it would be a better idea to just archive this thread.. But if you want it to stay, you can always simply edit your original link, if you cant, it doesnt really matter . Not everyone is an ass when it comes to referrals links like me Well I removed the referral part for now. Thanks for being an ass! Lol I dont know why peopel always hate each other by telling them that someone is accepting bitcoins and they dont appriciate it i dont understand because it is great that new companys accept bitcoins right?

I don't think it will affect so much because there are other forums which are more aimed towards games and that's where the majority are going to do bussiness steam-wise I think. Also alot of people will just buy directly from steam and we are going to see alot of resellers that will accept bitcoin then. I think when steam accepts btc it's going to be a big step forward.

There will be always market for used games, and other service sites that sell games will get some games with discount ans they will have good prices same as steam. Its how market work's, not just for games, its same case with all other goods. I'm not following trends, and I'm not so modern when we talk about games. I would rather buy some used and old game that I didn't play for some low price, then new and modern but expensive. I didn't play so many games, I get older and forgot to play and before I was good at some games. How much is the price for some good RPG game? Anyone here selling any good game?

It is bigger thing when a famous digital game company start accepting bitcoin. It is for the common good , forum marketplace might have lower interest because you can buy directly through the official site. But there will be a lot of a new bitcoin user as it is has introduced in the famous site such as steam.

Steam accepting Bitcoin is a good thing for both platforms because they can now attract more people. Steam has a big audience so this is going to benefit Bitcoin without a doubt.

The bitcoin is growing and its good that steam is accepting it but I do not see any chances since than. I honestly must say that the market will not change because the prices on here are still better than on steam itself so its still more attractable here.

for the sake of my safety and security on my account,i would prefer avoid any hacked keys or whatever else which just paid with illegal credit card or paypal for a little higher price, and i say that in the digital goods section, there's only certain popular games that's available for sell when by paying through steam you can choose whatever you want

Bitcoin needs to get in as many markets as possible, the market of gamers is not only very profitable but many of them are tech savvy, so if for some reason they were in the dark about bitcoin this will help get some of these people in the bitcoin bandwagon

No it will not affect the market over here at all because the marker has lower prices and steam is much higher with the most prices so that makes it here so more attractable. Due to this it will not affect the forum market here, its simply but nice that we here have a better market.

I also do not think it will affect the market on here due to this fact, of course its pretty difficult to say what is gonna happen on a long run. I think it will stay like this so that is good for the market here on the forum.

I dont think this forum will see much effect from it cause theres seperate game forums etc where they trade stuff no? Forums like d2sjp or something its called will see most traffic from this if it happens or happened already not sure cause i didnt check. But ofcourse you will also see some effect on this forum not predicting much though
