Curious if that will affect the people selling games on the bitcoin talk? And the various other websites you can buy steam at.

People will probably merch with it at first, so expect to see alot of steam talk.. anyways it might be profitable for me to look into it aswell lol so I should probably go do that..

True people will buy low sell high even with these things but it can be a win win cause if they are able to find for such a low price that they can still undercut steam then its a win win anyways.
I dont think it affected the forum so much tbh. I barely notice it.

It barely affected the forum market but I wouldn't even understand why it would dominate this forums market if there's so much better forums for this kind of subject.
It's great that steam gives us another option to pay and goes with the time more companies should follow.

I remember very well when the steam has started to receive payments in bitcoin and saying the truth it didn't affected the market.

Because gamers who are bitcoin addicted are not much and the needs for this wasn't too high, we can see that other companies like steam have accepted bitcoin and never affected the market.

I do believe the only market it may affect is the lending service as some people do lend bitcoins taking steam as colateral, besides that some users are ofering those as colateral, something in the past werent possible. In the end it wont affect really the steam accounts market at all, as bitcoin is the same as fiat, soo buying with it or fiat is the same.

Unfortunately, Apple does not accept bitcoin yet, nor has any plans at the moment. However, Apple does allow apps to allow bitcoin, here is a list of apps that accept bitcoin.

I think that it was possible in the past and the fact that bitcoin is accepted in steam doesn't affects much the accounts.

Anyway as far as i know lenders don't take the steam accounts as collateral because they can get back the account by simply saying that they got hacked (at least this is what I have read here in forum)

The fact that Steam accepted Bitcoin is a big deal because Steam has allot of users and all those users will now be introduced to Bitcoin.
This gives Bitcoin the chance to have more users in the future which is needed if they want to become bigger.

It has already happened and it didnt affect the forum at all. There were a few posts which I've seen steam related but that's it. Maybe I'm just not looking wide enough but anyways there's better related forums for steam subjects then here.

Steam did not affect the forum market but it did affect bitcoin itself. I think it made bitcoin a little bit more well known again then it already was.
Especially because so many people use steam and so it spreads like wildfire if they add it as a payment method cause everybody can see it.

Steam accepting btc barely affected the forum market I haven't noticed anything from it if I'm honest but this is because this forum is not that related to steam or games so I wouldn't look here to sell either if i were one of those resellers i'd go to more on topic forums.

Thats whay people will do into any market that start accept bitcoin, they will use bitcoin as well fiat just because they can do it, the same way as some porn websites are allowing members to pay the fee into bitcoins. These wont really affect bitcoin price at all, but helps a bit to get extra transactions.

No it will not affect the market of this forum because of the fact that the bitcoin has a very good worth and I also think that its cheaper on here.
On this forum it always will be cheaper than on the normal steam market without any doubts.

It already happened and didnt affect the forum market that much whenever I go to the marketplace I don't see much steam spam.
It's super amazing being able to pay with bitcoin on steam, I use it for every sale they have I hope more companies will use btc too.

Steam didn't affect the forum market as much as I thought I imagines alot of people selling game codes for btc.
But it was not that much perhaps because steam prices are already pretty low so there's not much profit to be made.

Maybe in furom no but in bitcoins acceptance and awareness will yes, actually the numbers of users keep growing everyday so maybe some other new users are those who use's the service of steam and got courious about bitcoins, and steam acceptance is 1 greay step forword and i really think there are more companies would be follow if this coin will get more market and users will go globally more wider, bitcoin is a great invention and a digital money so there's no doubt that this coin would be great for more decades and acceptance by that time will spreader more.

It hasn't affected the forum so much there's alot of other forums it has affected though everywhere people trying to sell their codes and items for bitcoin.
I hope amazon soon also accepts bitcoin and maybe that will affect the forum too.
