I suppose I use it for "both" because I use to buy stuff occasionally but I also hold most of my bitcoins waiting a huge price increase . Joining Bitcoin world 2014 makes you feel that you are late for the train honestly , so I don't want to sell until I make decent amount of profit .

You didn't get his point, he is trying to say that even if we cannot spend it directly we should spend them by converting it to fiat currency as the movement of bitcoins is important for the higher price in future.

yeah true I think everyone did the same. would seem impossible if they only use use bitcoin for currency only. because in fact using bitcoin only included the investment and are very likely to make a profit when prices rise bitcoin. so I'm sure all users must have also invested

For me i use bitcoin as currency as i have my daily commitments in life and i am fullfilling it through bitcoin by doing signature campaign, giving my skill work for bitcoin and getting free altcoins and trading with them. Like this their are lot of option to earn bitcoin online. 80% i use it by converting it to fiat currency and balance 20% i keep for future.

The use of bitcoin as currency is depending on the location you lives because there are still countries that are not accepting bitcoins because of the restriction the country implements for bitcoin. Just like here in my country, I'm enjoying the use of bitcoin as currency because an exchange site is selling good service and product with the use of bitcoin.

True, it really depends on the country which you live in because  if you earn bitcoin then your country dont have any merchants to spend it then those bitcoin you earn  would serve as  an investment but it would be possible also to be a currency when those bitcoin you earn you always  exchange it  to fiat everyday.

There are people who do hold their bitcoin for long term investments   and some  may  do short term trades  when bitcoin price moves. It really depends on the intention or interest of the  owners. I f you want to enjoy profits on short term then trading short  term would be ideal.

Much better to do trading to increase the profit of your investment, for me i use it both i have bitcoin for investment and also have bitcoin to spend. I have that because i want to manage well my money in terms of bitcoin.

I think you better focus first on savings before you plan to invest, do not mix things up so you will achieve a good outcome. Investing is good but only up to the amount of money you can afford to lose so when you have not savings you cannot invest.

Good luck to you South. I would suggest that if you have other fiat source income, I would rather use that as your daily cash or online transactions and your bitcoin (even in small amount) will be used for trading. But first, you need to learn how to trade cryptocurrency and all other necessary things involve in the field like - the pump and dump thing and the like.
